This is an easy solution but probably the lease of the transponder will expire shortly .... I am trying to figure it out why did they do it ? ETV was on this transponder nearly from the beginning so why this change ? I guess Eutelsat needs this transponder for other providers ... There is always a possibility they have money dispute with Sky but I am not familiar how things are working with the satellite providers in Italy

In the meantime ETV (and/or Sky) will solve definitely the problem of italian viewers (let's hope), could be eliminate big fixed writing which prevent the vision in old frequency, like happen til last week.

I dusted off my old golgbox and I found frequenzy.with the skybox is not 'possible.

I have the opportunity to watch a program from the Astra. But in my decoder I gave the option to search programs. and found me a new frequency on the HB. You can not do in Italy?

You have two ways:
1. Continue watching ETV by webstream at [hidden link - please register], TV Live page (only Astra audio available, so only german mods); 2. Buy a new FTA sat receiver and search for new frequency (parameters are in this topic).

Stop with the complaints italian members. At least now etv's staff has a justification in the case of nth soft nightshow: 'We have not much viewers'.

Sky Italia has 4 millions subscribers ca. (including myself), ETV is going to loose 4 millions potential viewers.
I won't buy another receiver, if those braindeads won't fix this problem I'll watch ETV only from webstream. They could also start to fire italian mods, they aren't needed anymore.

Hello, I'm quite new here (great forum, guys), I'm from Italy and I've the skybox issue.
I think that they have to send an update to the skybox to let it show the new frequency. I know they do it every now and then so I think that we only have to hope that it will be more now then then... In the meanwhile I'll be forced to check here - and is a pleasure - to follow the channel.Anyway, in the end, ETV is not doing the switch in the smartest way possible. No doubt

vivalapatata, I am not from Italy but if you read some posts below you can see that people have addressed this issue and see what Luca wrote... I can't understand how didn't ETV takle this into consideration when doing the switch !

Hello everyone, yesterday I see pictures of Eurotic TV half obscured by a message requesting to change the channel hotbird sintonizazzione, the problem is that if you have the sky decoder in Italy (like me) can not 'choose those that Look on hot bird, and also in the procedure "other channels" relaunching a new tune "pick" ever ormail the old channel. I think it's a problem for all subscribers of Sky Italy, someone managed to solve it? hello thanks
