It was quite similar to Karl Wendlinger's crash in 1994. He drove a Sauber too.

First things first this more important than the result ! Sergio Perez was aware, conscious, alert and he spoke with the doctor ,the only thing that he has ...at the moment when this is written ...that he only has a headache and that he wanted to drive again tomorrow .. he has to spend a hole night in hospital and they will do a complete check-up but we will be honaust... after sutch a crash it's doubtfull that we will see him in his car ...so tomorrow we only will see one Sauber on the track !
Here are now the official results of the qualification : 1. Sebastian Vettel 01:13.556 2. Jenson Button 01:13.997 3. Mark Webber 01:14.019 4. Fernando Alonso 01:14.483 5. The Grand Prix of Monaco is a mythical race that all the pilots dream to win
Over the years the track has changed but the basic circuit remains as it was in 1929 for the first race Ste Devote, Beau Rivage, Massenet, Mirabeau, Portier, Rascasse, are places that made the history of F1 Here there is the very tight hairpin of Grand Hotel (formerly Loews and Old Station), the corner closer and slower of all F1 championship The narrow streets of Monaco were the scene of frequent accidents. in 1982 Riccardo Patrese scored his first Grand Prix victory in a race that no one seemed able to win. The last laps were unbelievable and full of surprises in 1984 the race, held amidst heavy rain, announced the emergence of a great champion: Senna. He was a rookie with a uncompetitive Toleman. Qualifying in grid only in the 13th place, he started to overtake more drivers as the race progressed. When the GP was stopped due to rain, only Prost had been before him and if the race continued, Senna would have won Senna has won here more times than any other driver (six times 87-89-90-91-92-93, in ten editions from 1984 to 1993) and 8 times on the podium M. Schumacher has won 5 times in 16 editions; five victories also for Graham Hill(Damon's father) Key point at the start: the first corner 'Sainte Devote'. This circuit is the shorter, with the average hourly lowest and the highest number of gear changes. For the first time in this season: the soft tyre will be the “prime” and the supersoft tyre(never used) will be the “option”. So no hard tyre in this week end. Last year safety car: even 4 times the podium of the last 5 Monaco GP (Montecarlo) 2010 1 Mark Webber Red Bull 2 Sebastian Vettel Red Bull 3 Robert Kubica Renault fastest lap on race: Sebastian Vettel Red Bull 2009 1 Jenson Button Brawn-Mercedes 2 Rubens Barrichello Brawn-Mercedes 3 Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari fastest lap on race: Felipe Massa Ferrari 2008 1 Lewis Hamilton Mc Laren 2 Robert Kubica Sauber BMW 3 Felipe Massa Ferrari fastest lap on race: Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari 2007 1 Fernando Alonso Mc Laren-Mercedes 2 Lewis Hamilton Mc Laren-Mercedes 3 Felipe Massa Ferrari fastest lap on race: Fernando Alonso Mc Laren-Mercedes 2006 1 Fernando Alonso Renault 2 Juan Pablo Montoya McLaren-Mercedes 3 David Coulthard Red Bull fastest lap on race: M. Schumacher Ferrari |
