Every time RS announces changes, you could start having fear.

Another new change (Facepalm)
Download speed is now capped again for free users. Seems they still can't make their minds up on how to run a business. (Double Facepalm) And yep, I'm still not going to renew either. |

I got a nice email through from RS yesterday of a reminder my rapids run out soon and if i don't buy more or login in the next 90 days, then they will delete my account
[hidden link - please register] I've logged in and seen i still have 601 rapids left and by the last 2 transactions are enough for 1 more month. [hidden link - please register] I look forward to seeing what they charge next and wondering if they have upped the rapids they charge for a month again. |

Who saw this coming?
[hidden link - please register] Late November 2012, RapidShare was still very popular, ranked 150th in the world by Alexa, but now, just six months later, the site is ranked 860th. What could've happened in those six months? [hidden link - please register] [hidden link - please register] |

It seems a new change to RS (facepalm) as i just went on to my account and seems that the traffic limit for premium at least as gone
So all those changes they did have been a waste of time nope still won't renew my rapids with them |

Just trying out their freedom account, and currently copying, way more than 5GB to "push limits of their service"
Still in discussion with rapidshare over my accounts as they keep replying with conflicting info. |

So the mass deletion of files was supposed to occur last night at 12am CET. I checked a few hours past this supposed deadline and all my files were intact. However, that ever helpful red banner warned me to reduce my storage within 24 hours to avoid file deletion. After letting the 24 hours go by I checked again just 5 minutes ago. I now have 36 hours to reduce my storage
Are they having second thoughts? |

And it seems for free users they have removed the possibility of parallel downloads and additionally a waiting time between downloads, had to wait about 10 minutes
