Many emotions this evening in the semifinals of ATP Umag, specially
in the first, where Fabio Fognini, after winning easily the first set 6-0 against Gael Monfils, lost 6-3 the second and went 5-0 in the third: but started to feel the pressure and became nervous, so Monfils ,after saving 2 consecutive matchpoints on 5-3, jumped 6-5 and had 3 matchpoints; Fognini then kept the cool blood and won 7-3 the tiebreak This is his 13th victory in a row in the last 3 weeks Tomorrow he will face in the final Spanish Tommy Robredo, who won the battle with Andreas Seppi 6-3,2-6,6-4 |

A tragedy for Italy: Supersport pilot Andrea Antonelli died this afternoon
in Moscow, after falling down in first lap and after Lorenzo Zanetti run over him, probably for the eccessive rain on the track The race and second manche of Superbike was immediately annulled So said Marco Melandri(who won 1st manche in Superbike):"There was too much water on the track the circuit was impracticable, we saw nothing, we must stop" Now it's too late to talk, R.I.P. But Baguette and wine I can agree to. |

After hours of pain and suffers it was a sense of pleasure to be on the top. And after that sitting and enjoying the Panorama with a good wine and a Baguette. Life can be beautifull Ps. I did see Mr.Froome going up like hell, like someone did before.........(Armstrong ). But hey, it´s a great sport for free and I hope some day it will be total clean!! |
