Hi Guys, .....Docklands Ljght Railway ......London
A unique rail system! for London,completely automated driverless trains! The system was constructed firstly to get passengers from the"New Docklands" area of London,into the City. A railway, overground,mostly built on stilts above the London streets. causing havoc while it was under construction!!It proved to be so successful that over the next few years it was extended to other suburbs into Central London! A central control room operates the whole system with CCTV keeping watch on the many stations, It has proved to be very successful and heavy passenger loads show this!! best regards! Hey Guys, Loch Ness Inverness North central Scotland.
I was born a few miles north of here in a small village called Avoch I can just remember a small row of white painted cottages we lived at no.1 right on the foreshore!! Now back to Loch Ness I don't think the "monster" should get to much praise who knows whats in the water?? the Loch is 30kms long 3kms wide in some places, over1km deep at the south end so who would have any idea?? I will tell you who I think, all the guest house and hotel owners of course!! many thousands of euros have been spent on sonar equipment, to no avail!! but the owners of the tourist boats "The Nessie Hunters" will tell a much different story!! "of course Nessie is there i have seen it"!!!??enough said a definate money spinner for some!!! what do you guys think? yes or no a mere fable or is there truth your decision!!! with best wishes  [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] |

Hi Guys,....Lydd Watersports centre
Just down the road from me!! Fishing, on one lake, water skiing and jet skis on another, power boats on the third!! there is a restaurant and bar some static mobile homes and camping.... the main attraction is the Go Kart Track up to International standards which is open all year very well used at all times! The Meridian Time LineGMT runs through this building!! Hey Guys. Leeds Castle Maidstone SE UK
What a place!!! There has been a Castle on this site since 1119 AD It was a Norman stronghold, seeing 6 Royal Queens in It's time!! Up dated many many times to the present status there are restaurants a beautiful golf course( pro games played) A display of exotic birds, beautiful grounds ......... I am not sure but I think you can stay there too!! Hey Guys, Stonehendge S Central UK Wiltshire
It is not known how old the structure is or how the large stones got there!! none like them for many miles!! and how did they get them on top of each other!!?? Hi Guys Lydd Club Day
Once a year in June,we hold a fair with many entertainments! all paid for with donations and merciless fund raising by the committee who do a fantastic job ... It is a great day for old friends to meet up again!!...... they hold a lunch in a large marquee and there is a beer tent drinks supplied by a local hostelry !! at 10.00 in the evening a large firework display end the day's fun although the fair rides continue for a while longer!! Built over the last 20 years a completely "New" part of London It has been created on the site of many old docks and factories it is close to Tower bridge, many large companies have taken up residence here ,banks and the Printing of the daily newspapers are two of them all Head Offices. The London Routemaster first built in 1954 a test vehicle was put in service to get reaction from passengers! 2776 were eventually built up until1966/7 AEC built all aluminum body, Preselect gearbox and heaters!! the bus celebrated it's 60th anniversary a few years ago. some are still running in London today!!best wishes to all [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] |

Hi ya Guys, Tower Bridge, London.
London Bridge was the only bridge for "traffic" to cross the River Thames in the 1800's , that was horses and carts!! It was decided to build a new one!! Tower Bridge It was built between 1884 to 1886 When required the two arms are raised by Bascules huge weights housed in the bottom of each tower Tower bridge is the first bridge you encounter coming "up stream" when raised it allowed ships to enter "The Pool of London" docks area. hi guys Hastings Old Town East Sussex SE UK this town is unique
as the old and the new blend together perfectly the "later " part is a vibrant tourist hot spot amusements all the"big" shops Beaches While the older area is narrow streets ,old properties,antique shops very old public houses and Inns the beach belongs to the ,now ,small fishing fleet the boats being winched up onto the beach, and small shops selling their catches tourists yes but much different from just "up" the road!! kind regards [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] |

hey friends, Woolwich Ferry SE london, These boats carried vehicles
across the River Thames down stream from the many bridges and the two tunnels.It was a slow way to cross but at the time on the North side were many factories and docks so the location was perfect about 20 minutes to cross less than half a km As a young lad on a Saturday morning I would go to Woolwich just to ride the Ferry it was an exciting day out!! then the ferries were steam powered there was a "viewing platform" to see the steam engines very hot and the smell of hot oil and steam!, for me as a lad a joy to behold I'm not sure but I do not think the Ferries operate now perhaps someone knows!! with best regards to all [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] |

Hello friends, this is Southend about 40 kms East of London
at the mouth of the River Thames........ The vehicle started life In Bimingham, a city 110 kms from this location, It is a Daimler and is one of many used in the summer months along the 10km sea front a very popular way to see the views providing the British weather was behaving it's self the service still runs today but with modern vehicles without their tops on!! the date of the photo is 1969 best regards to all [Verstecktes Bild - Registrierung notwendig] |
