Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I live in the UK and am having trouble trying to receive this channel. Up until a few months ago I had a little receiver and was able to watch eUrotic without any problems, but then the receiver broke and I've been without hotbird for a couple of months. Last night I retrieved my old receiver that I'd lent to my brother-in-law and set it up.
It's a Technomate TM-500 C, but when I select 'eurotic' from the channel listings, it just shows a blank screen with the message 'No Signal', even though I can receive other channels okay. The channel details for this show the frequency as: 10.853, Horizontal, 27.500, 3/4. According to this website that frequency is wrong, so I searched for it manually on: 11.200, Vertical, 27.500, 5/6 - but still no joy. I've also done a complete 'auto-scan' to see if it brought up any other eurotic channels, but it didn't. I don't understand why I can't find it. Is the channel still free-to-air? Anyhelp greatly appreciated. |

Thanks, Shirtful, but as you can see from my previous post, I've now resolved the issue. It was fixed by a factory reset.
However, while I'm here, I wonder if anyone can explian why it hasn't found certain other channels that I used to enjoy watching because of some of the films they showed Maybe I'll have to tune them manually, but the scan I did after the factory reset failed to find TV Polonia and TV Kultura |

@ Billy
Can you view other channels on this freq? [hidden link - please register] Ones coloured red are encrypted PS Try editing an existing channel with ETV details |

Thanks, Uranus. If I could bring it up in the listings (the one with the correct frequency, I mean) but still got a blank screen, I would tend to agree with you about it being a hardware issue, but I don't understand why it doesn't come up when I search for it on that frequency. When I search using that frequency the scanner finds about 33 channels, but eUrotic isn't one of them??

Hi Billy,
just checked it for to be sure: Hotbird 11200, V, 27500, 5/6 Astra 12552, V, 22000, (-) both OK and still FTA. Seems to be a Hardware-Problem.... Good luck, Uranus |
