It never rains...

...... it just pours down. When I left the 'Land of My Fathers' I was in a state of depression. Due in part to the 'orrible weather and the then unconfirmed news that pirates had pulled up alongside the good ship ETV and the crew were jumping off faster than a toilet seat rises at a mixed party. But it seems that these pirates, who were intent not only to rape and pilage the ship, would also save any damsel that took their fancy from the sinking vessel to enhance their own crew. You may recall that I was on a mission. Part of it was to recruit some new interns to my distant cousin's harem but also to share that promised coffee with 'the man from the inside'. Well you already know the story about the harem. But in the Molvanian capital I felt at home - the rain had followed me so what better way to spend a wet day than down a Lavazza or three and count the tears as they fell into the cup. Of course it never happened and if I was to be truly honest with myself then I should not have expected any different. And so I left the Molvanian capital the next day not under a cloud because the skies decided to clear. The sun came out and I thought that maybe, just maybe, with the lifting of the clouds there was a bright future. The unconfirmed has been confirmed. But the band plays on. The ship, although now badly damaged still sails. The captain however needs to sail a new route. Too many of the crew that are left are still intent on doing things which have no right place onboard. I do not intend to repeat them here just as I had no intention to repeat them to the captain. I can, and will, do just that as the mood and ocassion takes me. The captain must always remember that when the ship does go down then so also does he. |
