an assumption on my part:
Etv has no license for a good erotic content, just after 23:00 and 0:00 etvland.
The change of license (if permitted) can not be done only after the provisional arrest of the channel (exp: chatback in uk)
Given the low income more staff to save time working and commitment mr Ressel has made to other countries of distribution, can not afford to stop.
Other channels have a license may be more appropriate to their diffusion and can therefore afford to be more erotic than etv.

I agree with you ( Markus76 and bill 80 ) that wievers don't have to pay 2 times.
In fact I think ETV could overcome restrictions in many ways (one of them is the combination Sat + Web I explained in my precedent post in this thread).
However I consider as a possible idea a subscription-based ETV in a way totally different from other pay-channels:
since the reason of this encryption should be not to make money but only to ensure ETV is considered not a FTA channel (therefore not subjected to rules),ETV could encrypt the shows with an obsolete low-cost system (seca1,Irdeto1,.....) and distribute a smart-card for this.
This smart card should have only a symbolic cost (for example 10/20 euro) and "una-tantum".
After this initial cost the viewers should have no other costs except calls and smss.

However also this solution requires:

a)Good number of beautiful (2006 style) girls who are able to perform hot actions/interactions.
b)Good camerawork
c)Creativity

As I said many times,if they want they have 1000 ways to overcome the rules, but I agree with glassy: they don't want because they have other business-strategies.

but this is a terrible idea. Why should i pay double? First for the sms call or other things and second for the smartcard of ETV.

If i would pay a smartcard for ETV they must be really hard in the nightshow for my opinion. If i would pay they must show us something like a dildo in the pussies of the cold or soft models, too.

I just bring the chat with mr Ressel, it tells us nothing new. questions about the models, were carefully avoided.
Ok with glassy, etv has never functioned properly because you can see the models do not speak for very long minute and sms apart from the pub is very rare and mr Ressel said that calls and SMS do not decrease (liar) is a businessman who preaches to his congregation.

If there are no erotic live channels in the future on satellite TV why don't they try a pay channel. In the daytime you have on the same channel a free channel with soft content and introducing the girls and in the night you have a pay channel where more is possible. I know it's hard for the viewers but I'm sure there will be no other way in the future or everything will go to the internet and there will be no satellite channels with liveshows anyway only pay channels with cheap porn film.

He was telling a lot of crap. I agree with Glassy but must also add that I missed yesterday that we were talking almost only about softness of shows. What about quality of models? Cameraworking? No way can he say that the income has not changed. It must have been very poor long ago then. Only a few polite thoughts about the subject:

I already have explained my idea about this TV:

they made a business strategy choice in order to make money (other businesses,other markets,other.....) otherwise they could find other ways to overcome the restrictions:

1)Subscription-based ETV
2)contracts for basic channel bouquets of HB and Astra.
3)Reorganization of the shifts with a Sat + Web combination.
I only make an example: let's consider a the shift of 5 hours (both day and night shifts).
An idea could be to put 7 girls on air for 3 hours on sat, for example 4 "soft" and 3 "hot" girls. In the first 3 hours of the show all the 7 girls can receive calls and smss from the viewers.
The requests that can be fulfilled in respect of the rules will be immediately fulfilled, other requests (for hot models) will be showed on the screen.
Then,in the last 2 hours, while the 4 "soft models" remain in ETV1 studio to continue their work (like in the previuos 3 hours), the 3 "hot models" move to ETV2 studio to perform the previous "hot" requests from the viewers, and this show will be broadcasted only on Web.
I think this could be an idea but it would have some requirements:
a)A good number of beautiful (2006 style) girls who are able to perform hot actions/interactions.
b)Good camerawork
c)Good webstream (much better than actual one)

Unfortunately points a,b,c are totally disappointed because ETV strategy is completely different
(just look at last year new models, only call center girls, and the girls who show something, always the same ,not erotic and not motivated !)
but I just want to say that the rules could be overcomed in many ways !

When my "weird" calculations ans statistics made me understand that it is a problem of business-strategy I decided to stop trying to debate about improvements on this TV, also because it was said to me that ETV doesn't care about viewers.

So that I find very curious that ETV boss comes here to tell us:

1) Calls/smss are always the same
2) Us experiments are OK
3) Strange motivations about schedules removing.
