Tarl_Cabot wrote:more quotes wouldn't be helpful thus: Well, I wasn't wrong in point 1, because my statement was, that whenever someone criticises ETV, a white knight comes on the scene to fight for ETV. In my opinion the fact that in this case the criticiser wasn't the opening poster is irrelevant. Regarding point 2 I disagree, because in my experience contacting ETV support is not very productive, as stated earlier. Regarding point 3 I already stated that I didn't get your answer. In FTA shows there's a more or less grainy, hazy and blurry picture that results from a low resolution -> big screen ratio. Maybe I'm wrong, but I never observed pixelation on FTA like on web shows. Thank you very much for point 4, but I choose to stick to my opinion that I'd rather pay money for shows I like than saving time and money by not wasting money for shows I propably won't like. I always thought that discussions about quality, technical issues etc. are the purpose of this board, as long as members are not pissing on each other. Don't know about you, but if you think these constantly "discussions" are (mostly) annoying it tells me that you propably see things differently, which is your good right of course. |

(not a comment about you or your post) - I got your point but you not my answer. the pixelation is in the fta and the web shows. thus probably a technical problem. but this problem isn't an etv only problem. - I've read your comment as "I don't like the schedule, I won't watch the shows and I think the web project will fail (sooner or later)." if this is the case you'll save time & money and maybe at some day the web shows are over and the other shows will maybe become better and so maybe everything will be fine. This is the purpose of a discussion board like this one, isn't it ? according to your post it is. but not for me or what's the idea of that sentence??? I've chosen neither one side or the other. I've just pointed out that you've been wrong in point 1, wanted to say to pint 2 that it's always better/ more clever/ wiser to give an opinion to etv than posting only here in the forum, gave a technical answer to point 3 and said to point 4 that you won't waste at least no money for shows you will probably not like. |

Tarl_Cabot wrote:well, if you check site 2 you'll see that the "White Knight" made the first post and all other posts are answers. True, the white knight/"White Knight" stated that everything was great, another poster thought that not everything was that great.....then the white knight/"White Knight" told this poster basically to fuck off. That doesn't change anything... Tarl_Cabot wrote:pissing in the wind is better than pissing on other forum members. That's a cryptic posting. I didn't piss on other forum members. So who did it ? Tarl_Cabot wrote:it was, is and probably be will always the same with the fta shows. thus it seems to be a general problem (and no only @ etv). Sorry, I don't get your point. I was talking about the web shows, not the FTAs and I haven't ever seen pixelation of this kind on FTA shows or other web streams. Tarl_Cabot wrote:well, if it's this way you'll save your money and sooner of later all will be fine for you, or? Strange....Slowfox told me to save time and now you tell me to save money. It's not my intention to save money and time, because if it was, I wouldn't visit websites like etvshow or watch ETV at all. My intention is to watch nice erotic shows by girls I like and I accept to pay an appropriate amount of money for these. So, in this case I criticised the web schedule...of course this is a matter of personal taste and if someone thinks the schedule is great he can express this opinion here too. This is the purpose of a discussion board like this one, isn't it ? |

Same old story: Shortly after a viewer/customer expresses some kind of discontent with ETV, this time discontent with some technical aspects, a knight
in shining armor enters the scene and tells this guy to fuck off and send his complaints to ETV. It's like a deja-vu experience... First off it's afaik not against the board rules to express discontent and then even a white knight should know by now that sending complaints to ETV is like pissing in the wind. You either get no or a ridiculously childish stubborn answer. To the technical aspect: Didn't watch the show in question, but generally the pixelation problem still isn't solved. Especially when there's darkness and bright backlight plus movement the picture quality decreases extremely. Could have to do with a non-sufficient bitrate of the stream or/and the camera equipment, but I'm not expert enough to get to the bottom of this problem. What bothers me more is the in my opinion weak web schedule of the last weeks and next week too. Evah, Brona, April, Rose etc.are not of any interest for me....well, that may be my problem, but I just don't think that ETV web shows will survive with schedules like that. |

Hi! As for the quality of yesterday's Premium is I have no reason to complain, and it is technically (and I was using Samsung Smart TV) and in terms of performance of the show by the girls. I do not know where and when they were reported and invisible dark moments.

Too much technical stuff for me, sorry guys
How about when your friend watches the vid later? To my experience these are good, so doesn't that kindda solve the problem, especially now that the vid of a once purchased show can be watched for free over and over... Also I would like to add I am usualy a bit too distracted to notice picture quality |

I am not a spokesman for ETV but it is obvious to most members reading our posts that we come to our conclusions about ETV related matters from opposite sides of the table.I doubt either of us will be able to convince the other that we don't each have hidden agendas when posting.I don't think I do but I do not believe you think you do either.
Your friend's system sounds impressive on paper, mine cannot match it but I at least know that mine is real and the results I see and comment on are based on my actual live observations and are not just a means to win a discussion with somebody else who has no way of proving or disproving the existence of such equipment.Although, again, this by some would be my expected reply as,like I said,my replies are seen to be loaded in favour of ETV.I can do nothing about this, only believe what I think is true and I believe your reply to exist entirely to prove or reinforce what you think is true in this case to criticise an aspect of ETV that I am personally happy with. The last 15-20 minutes of the 2nd show featured two 'technically' solo performances from Jade and April. My limited specification system displayed no 'dark' or 'blurry' sections during this time and little or no pixellation. The Jade part was done almost entirely with a very bright backlight silhouetting her body, probably the lightest part of the hour and April's 'milk maid' strip had some of the sharpest detailed close-ups of the hour.Again,we are both seeing things from opposite sides of the 'fence', I suppose and comments here from either of us wll never change that. All I ask is that,as an intelligent person, you stop questioning my judgement about what I honestly say I enjoy and appear contented with. You will not convince me in any way that what I spend my money on is wrong, fruitless or misguided.By all means,as a paying customer, let your comments continue but please aim them in the right direction,at ETV,and not at others who appear to enjoy what they do without requiring some kind of specific validation everytime it doesn't conform with your opinion. It just builds walls between members where none existed before and taints future comments from being given the unbiased respect they naturally deserve. Have a nice weekend too, sincerely, what is left of it. Dreamlander |

Several erotic vignettes spread across the three hours sustaining the erotic mood perfectly and the girls performed with an engaging and very welcome enthusiasm.Well done to all involved behnd the cameras and to April,Claudia,Jade and the incredible Alice for some very sexy entertainment tonight. You don't mention what type of system your friend has or Broadband speed so I have no real way of comparing what I saw to what you saw and whether there was any bandwidth switching occurring to compensate for a low or unstable data rate. Was your friend disappointed? Did he purchase further shows or did the image quality put him off? I assume this wasn't his first purchase,so maybe he is OK with it? Did you ask him the same questions you are asking me? What section of the hour did you watch with your friend? I have found that, generally, the image quality is poor at the start for a few minutes then settles down to become somewhere between SD and HD,far better than the TV stream and better than most other web based shows I have seen.Flowplayer's live encoding would seem to be the problem as viewing the shows later on ETV's video page these problems are not present. All of the web-based production is done 'in house' by ETV themselves so is subject to the same sort of problems we all have when streaming content,I'm guessing. If they used a dedicated stream provider company, then these issues would disappear but that would cost a lot of money and ETV,as we should all be aware,is not funded by a multi-million Euro porn empire.A fact which makes it uniquely attractive to me. I watch on a 15" HD display using Firefox (Chrome is very poor in comparison,in my experience) and have Sky Unlimited Broadband which never dips below 10mb.Given the many variables that the cameras have to deal with during all the different shows,I believe the system copes quite well.Filming brightly backlit scenes, scenes with repetitive patterns, like shiny or lace curtains and excessive movement highlights the inadequacies of the encoding process sometimes but that is what makes other web streams produce such boring and sedate, tripod mounted content.I enjoy ETV attempting to vary it's productions. As far as I know, the 'Premium' in the title never referred anywhere to the technical quality of the show.Any implication is that of the paying customer and is,of course, something that he/she can comment about to ETV directly. shaky-schumi wrote:... if i'm not mistaken these are real people ..... Unfortunately, the situation is much sadder . Girls are not puppets, they are flesh and blood , but most of them behave like puppets . A good actor must put in her acting of her body and especially her soul . But I see only puppets without emotions, without imagination, without surprises, without passion, without excitement . It's not their fault, it's a bad concept ETV. ETV offered wonderful shows with good actors in past , now ETV offers only nudity . No feelings - no erotica (for me). This is my feeling from last year. Now I do not follow ETV. But I do not believe that anything has changed for the better. |
