Could someone tell me about Hotbird

Hi Everyone,

Could some one tell me

1. Whether ETV is on in Hotbird as Iam not getting for the past two days. If yes

2. How to cinfigure it

I deleted the channel from the existing and did search, but it was not able to detect the ETV1 & 2

Could some one help Please

In a fit of madness (maybe drunkeness) I cleared my entire channel list tonight.

When I did a re-scan, ETV1 and ETV2 Hotbird where nowhere to be seen

A great way to sober up and push a few more buttons on the receiver. Result - another scan and this tme they were there PHEW !!

audio PID 2989
PCR PID 3303

Of course, this freq is the same as it ever was. Not so sure about the PID as these have changed since they were transmitting on HB.

If the same problem you have with the frequencies sexysat, go the same way (again with the Italian skybox)?

Something changed yesterday morning, my PVR continued to receive but my FTA receiver lost the signal. I did a search @ 10853.44 MHz H, (T-systems Provider)
and found ETV1 and 2. The old slots still show no signal although the frequency is nearly the same.

When they set up the new service on E+ everything else on Hotbird went into Mega wobble.

When they removed it, just about everything went down.

The info on my Receiver is now as follows, with a good signal 76%

Trans Freq. 10857 Symbol Rate 27500 Polarity H
Video PID 2982 Audio 2983

the old info was as  - no signal

Trans Freq. 10872 Symbol Rate 27500 Polarity H
Video PID 2982 Audio 2983
