A Baffling Disease

The greatest medical minds met for their annual conference.

High on the agenda was the discussion of a seemingly new disease which they all agreed was very baffling.

Here were the common symptoms :-

1. Lack of sleep even when confronted with such items that should guarantee the opposite.
2. Complete reversal to another well known complaint that is commonly known as 'zapper's thumb'. Whatever the patient tried to do, he could not hit the change channel button on his remote.
3. An un-healthy desire to spend vast sums of money on premium rate telephone numbers or SMSs
4. The patient believed he had found his true love and would shower her with gifts of flowers and teddy-bears.
5. Sometimes, in the more extreme cases, the patient also sent vast sums of money.

After much deliberation, the medics agreed to a name for this disease. From now it is to refered to as euroticatubacalamatous.

Whilst the disease is deep down and has a long prognosis, the medics have also highlighted some treatments which, with the appropiate investment, could help all current and future sufferers.

1. Even if the lack of sleep cannot be cured, at least provide an entertainment to compensate.
2. This would also cure the problem of 'zapper's thumb'
3. This would also provide value for the money still spent.
4. The recognition that new studio surroundings always provide a feel good factor for all conerned even if it results in more money being spent by the patient.
5. The medics concurred tho that those who send flowers, teddy-bears or money are beyond cure.

Like all medical research, funding is very important. If you feel you can help, your donation should be forwarded in a plain, unmarked envelope to the writer who promises to send it on after deduction of administration costs, telephone costs to premium rate lines, acquisition of teddy bears, flowers and all other incidental charges.

So endeth today's Creative Reasoning And Philosophy.

Re: A Baffling Disease

I only was suffering from symptom #2 for some time. Symptom #1 healed itself after kicking out all the interesting models, since the only thing keeping me awake afterwards was an occasional wave of revulsion. But then again, not revolting enough to make me lose my dinner. For this is takes a program jampacked with telephone sex advertisments.

But I understand, that there have to be a whole lot of people having all the symptoms, since otherwise the virus would no longer infect the airwaves.

Re: A Baffling Disease

A very proper description, can it be you had your own experience with that illness? I recognize a lot of the symptoms but etv helped me to get rid of it by replacing nearly every interesting model by a boring one. Looking at the shows of the last days, I think they are stepping up their contributions in the battle against this insidious and ambidextrous illness, which once made my purse look like Ambers chest.
