SexySat2 no more ?

hey people... it's about one week that for me sexysat2 is a blackscreen the whole day.

then i delete the channel and now i am trying to re-catch it with scanning new channels.

but my decoder seems unable to find it again.

my question is: sexysat2 is still alive or is dead ? or is only my decoder that is too old to catch it good ?

..btw.. at the end i resetted the machine.. ^_^ and ss2 is again on my dec now.. -_-!!!

Check the properties of the channel, more in particular the VPID. This must be set to 4321 for SS2. If not you won't get video. Normally you can enter these numbers manually in the channel setup. You may want to check http://en.kingofsat.net/pos-13E.php for all numbers, so you can get audio too.

Even simpler might be to use the transponder editor and remove 123600 from the list and then add a new transponder at 123600H, dvbs-qpsk, 27500 3/4. Scanning only this transponder would the refresh the list. It might be that the chanels now appear twice in your list, but that is easily corrected.

i have an old goldbox philps , but i know that is not the first time that i have a problem like that.

once upon this happened with another channel.. after a total reset and reload of all the channels it re appears.

but i don't want to repeat that experience.. cause to reset and rebuild all the channel list is a mad work !! O_o

piggy, which kind of decoder are you using? the problem you describe is just the one with Sky Italia box, for instance...

i can see all the channels at 12360 frequence but not ss2.

Do you not get this frequency at all (12,360) ?? Or is it only SS2 ?

nothing.... seems to me impozzible to catch again sexysat2... may be the bad wheater of these days.. may be uranus going through saturn... really dunno.. but i cannot see again SS2.

should i wait and retry later ?
