I suppose it was a silly question to ask if people wanted more. I will get back ti this, although, unfortunately everything I have is from the later period.

Ah, those were the days.

The clips from DB (thanks m8) date from the third or fourth incarnation of the show, if I'm not mistaken. The studio had been reduced to a 5 by 5 meters area with blueish curtains. The show was already in decline then.

The first setup was in a much larger room, with a bed / couch on the right, an area for the floor-show in the center and a dancing area on the left. There would be 3 or 4 couch potatoes sitting in the background taking calls. They had large objects/furniture where models could sit down in between their acts (though lots of action was going on there too, specially if they would be on the phone!) The show itself was a bit softer, the strippers only showing titties, and the only ones doing blowjobs (and more) was the mexican couple/triple that did the hardcore floor show.

The second setup they had 2 seperate areas, this one and a bedroom next door, where they would invite guests. That was probably the most daring version. The blonde that we see in these clips was already there as a hardcore stripper, i.e. her strips included toys of all kinds, but she only used two of the available holes to insert them. There were three or four other regular strippers, but they would not perform these extreme acts. In the bedroom, however, anything was possible, though most of the invited guys turned out to be too shy or impotent afterall. Later on, when they reduced to repeats, they severely censored what happened in the bedrooms and we never saw what was going on in the studio again. It probably went too far, even for Spanish TV. I think the 2nd series wasn't on telesierra (TVL) but on Canal 23. Telesierra was then still on Hotbird and Eutelsat would never have allowed it to go FTA. Hispasat always has been less restrictive

In the 4th (or was it the 3rd) season they also used this small studio, but in a red setup rather than blue. There was this well dressed elderly lady, looking like a schoolteacher, who was taking calls and making notes (Really!) It was pretty lame, unless when the black guy showed up. It featured all the same regulars as we see in these clips (the mexicans had finaly left the show) only adding one new bisexual guy to the line-up who had first showed up as an invited caller in the second season. Also Cleopatra (the red haired) would finaly show up not wearing this mesh body suit. Once a week they would have guest strippers that were generally pretty good.

The final setup was only used for very few shows and was again in a larger area, now having 2 poles with lots of couch potatoes, man and women, sitting in the background taking calls. This was taken of screen fairly quickly, and rightly so. Boring like hell.

From then on they would show regular repeats of clips from the show for two or three years. This stopped in 2005 or so, though on occasion you might still catch one. Last time I saw a clip  taken from Charlie Channel was on Canal 53, somewhere in autumn 2008.

I'd love to see more of the early series if you have some!

Do you have the (I think 3rd or 4th) show from the first series where Charlie arrived in a big limousine? Wow, those girls were really awesome! Unfortunatly they never returned. They would later use a clip of this arrival to announce that the show would be live that night (The first season it was only live once or twice a week, very irregular.)

Also, to give those readers that never saw these shows a really good impression, maybe post one with the black guy and one with the mexican girl if you have them.

Also, at times, there was a shorthaired brunette that stripped. Oh, was she ever pretty!

And finally, where is Charlie? Blow-waving his hair, probably...

Many thanks DB for clearing up a mystery from my satellite watching youth. Never quite worked out what was going on with Sexysat at that time but I knew I liked it!

I hope you are not referring to the TV6 container show... it was just terrible!

To me the most notorious FTA live shows ever were:

1) Charly Channel, which was on almost daily from 01.00 till 05.00 and included stripping, gay and hetero hardcore intercourse and some of the ugliest as well as some of the prettiest girls you've ever seen. Viewers could dial in, ask for performances, talk to some couch potatoes or the protagonists and a couple of times they were even invited to join the show.

2) I never found out the name, I referred to it as 'club amor', it was shot live in a swingers club in Valencia (I think) on fridays and saturdays from midnight till 04.00, when girls and couples had free entrance and men were asked to pay a bit. All guests were masked and were free to do as they pleased. There were three professional (unmasked) girls that made sure the steam was on, and a both a male and a (gorgeous!) female presenter that guided the viewers through the club and made interviews with the guests. Viewers could call in and talk to any guest (they had a phone bar.) The male presenter often had a T-shirt that said 'www.clubamor.com' hence the name. AFAIK this URL  was never valid.

Both shows date from the pre-digital era. Too bad, I don't have any recordings of either of them.
