Hi guys, I thought that also the main clubs competition deserved its own predictor thread, so here it is The rules are slightly different from the Premier League Predictor Thread and are as follows: since it can be quite difficult to guess how will behave teams not exactly well known as Ludogorets or Rostov I decided to give you one point if you guess the winner of the match and two if you guess the exact result; for example if the match is Manchester City vs Barcelona and you write 2-0, you will receive one point if Manchester win 1-0, 2-1 and so on, two points if Manchester win 2-0 and of course no points if Barcelona win or the match ends with a draw. The fixtures will be posted in this thread every Friday before the matchdays and you will have to write your predictions before 20,30 CET of Tuesday (for the Tuesday matches) and Wednesday (for the Wednesday matches). In case of matches at 18:00 CET you' ll have to write them before 17:45 CET You will find the results of the matches every Tuesday and Wednesday night in the "International Football" Thread and every Thursday I will post the results of the game and the updated table in this thread. The competition will begin only if there are enough members interested (if not this thread will be deleted ) Come on, you don' t have to be a football expert to join the game, it' s only for fun and there is nothing to win (but also nothing to lose ) Please, feel free to send me a PM if there is anything you want to know more and I will reply as soon as possible. I hope many of you will join this game FINAL GAME TABLE : 1. I am absolutely distraught and inconsolable after Juve's defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League Final in Cardiff tonight. Juve were by far the more dominate team in the first half and didn't deserve to go behind to a Ronaldo deflected goal. Mandzukic's equaliser minutes later was one of the greatest goals I have ever seen along with Zidane's sublime goal for Los Blancos against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League Final a few years ago. However, having eulogized about the Mandzukic goal, in the second half it was all Real Madrid and were by far the better team and fully deserved to win so well done to them. I feel gutted for Juve, their staff and players and most of all their fans and for the Italian people. Lastly, I want to commiserate with Gianluigi who I still believe is the best goal keeper in the world ever despite being on the losing side. Once again, well done to Real Madrid, a fully deserved victory. Forza Juve
