Gentlemen's Singles : Carlos Alcaraz (1) won his 12th ATP tournament in career (second Grand Slam and on grass), defeating
Novak Djokovic (2) 1-6, 7-6 (6), 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 after 4h 42'

In the first set, Nole started better, and, after saving a break-point in the first game, broke Alcaraz twice in a row, going ahead 4-0 and then maintaining the advantage without worries until the final 6-1 after only 34'; in the second set, it was Alcaraz who made his first break of the match in the second game, but the Serbian immediately broke him back and went 2-2, then the two players kept their respective services and the set ended in the tie-break, in which Djokovic immediately went
3-0, Alcaraz caught him back to 3-3, then there were no more mini-breaks until 7-6 for the Spaniard, who, with a winner, won the set 8-6, equalizing the sets after
1h 28'; in the third set, the Iberian immediately broke the Serbian and went 2-0, thus, with two another breaks in the fifth and in the seventh game, he closed the set
6-1 after 1h, going ahead 2 sets to 1; the fourth set remained in balance until the fifth game, when Djokovic broke his opponent, keeping it until 5-3, when, with another break, he won the set 6-3 after 55', impacting the match on 2-2; in the fifth and decisive set, it was Alcaraz who went a break ahead in the third game, keeping it firmly until the final 6-4, which gave him, at the age of 20, his first career triumph in the English Slam (making him the third Spaniard to triumph in the "Championships" after Manuel Santana in 1966 and Rafael Nadal in 2008 and 2010) and the certainty of remaining No. 1 in the world, while Djokovic, champion of the last 4 editions, saw his streak of consecutive victories on the London lawns interrupted at 35 (specifically, he had not lost on Center Court for 10 years), he had to give up his dream of completing the Grand Slam (he had already won the Australian Open and Roland Garros this year) and was unable to win his 24th Grand Slam and catch up with Roger Federer at 8 Wimbledon wins.

Ladies' Singles : Marketa Vondrousova won her second WTA tournament in career (first Grand Slam and on grass), defeating
Ons Jabeur (6) 6-4, 6-4 after 1h 20'

In the first set, Jabeur immediately went 2-0, but Vondrousova, after saving two 0-3 balls, immediately broke her back, the Tunisian again went 4-2, but the Czech first caught her up on 4-4 and then, with another break, went to serve for the set, closed 6-4 after 40'; in the second set, Vondrousova immediately broke her opponent, Jabeur didn't give up and broke her back, going then 3-1 ahead, but, once again, the Czech player didn' t let her escape and caught her up on 3-3, then, with another break on 4-4, she went to serve for the match, closing at the second match-point with another 6-4 and thus conquering the most important title of her career, at the second Grand Slam Final after the one she lost against Barty at Roland Garros 2019, also becoming the first tennis player in the Open Era to win Wimbledon without being seeded and climbing the WTA ranking up to tenth position, thus realizing her debut in the "Top 10", while Jabeur lost her second Final in a row at "The Championships", once again failing to win the first Major for an African tennis player.
