Prize Money : $ 15.000.000
Surface : Hard

FORMAT : The 24 teams are divided into six groups of four teams each in a round-robin format, that will take place in Brisbane ("Pat Rafter Arena"), Perth
("Perth Arena") and Sydney ("Ken Rosewall Arena") from January 3rd to 8th. The six winners of each group and the two best second-placed finishers will
qualify for the Final Eight, that will take place in Sydney : in Quarter-finals, on January 9th, the "Winner of Group D" will face the "Winner of Group E" and
the "Winner of Group C" will face the "Winner of Group F" and, on January 10th, the "Winner of Group A" will face the "Lower-ranked Runner-up" and the
"Winner of Group B" will face the "Higher-ranked Runner-up", then, on January 11th, there will be the Semifinals and the competition will end on January 12th
with the Final.

FORMAT : The 18 teams will compete in six Round Robin groups of three teams from 18 to 21 November, with every match consisting of two singles and a double, all best of three sets : the six group winners, plus the two second-placed teams with the best records, based on percentage of sets won (followed by games won) will qualify for the Quarter-finals (November 21st & 22nd), in which the "Winner of Group A" will face the "Best or Second Best Runner-up", the "Winner of Group D" will face the "Winner of Group F", the "Winner of Group E" will face the "Winner of Group C" and the other "Best or Second Best Runner-up" will face the "Winner of Group B", then the four winning teams (automatically qualified for the 2020 Davis Cup Finals), will play the Semi-finals (November 23rd) and the Davis Cup Champions will be crowned on November 24th; the teams finishing in 5th to 18th positions will qualify for the 2020 Davis Cup Qualifiers.

No breaks in first set and the natural ending was the tie-break, in which Thiem went 3-0, then 5-2, but Tsitsipas managed to go 5-5, saving a set-point on 5-6, but still losing the set 8-6 after 1h 06'; in second set the Greek player broke twice in a row the Austrian, going 4-0 and then closing the set 6-2 after 27'; in the deciding set Tsitsipas was the first to break in third game, but Thiem broke him back for the first time in the match in sixth game and the set was again decided by the tie-break, in which Tsitsipas went 4-1, Thiem managed to go 4-4, but the Greek player won the last three points in a row, closing the match and winning the most important tournament so far in his career.
