ATP Masters 1000 Paris : Novak Djokovic (1) won his 77th ATP tournament in career (34th ATP Masters 1000 and fifth in Paris), defeating Denis Shapovalov 6-3, 6-4 2019 WTA FINALS - DAY 8 (LAST) : Shenzhen (China), Bay Sports Center, 27 October - 3 November : Singles - Final : Ashleigh Barty (1) won her 7th WTA tournament in career (first WTA Finals and fourth on hard), defeating Elina Svitolina (8) 6-4, 6-3 after 1h 27' In a very balanced first set, the Australian made the deciding break in tenth game, closing the set at the third set-point after 45' of fight; in second set, Svitolina broke her opponent in third game, but Barty reacted immediately and, with two consecutive breaks, she went 4-2, the Ukrainian immediately broke her back, but, in the following game, the world's N° 1 broke again Svitolina, going 5-3 and closing the match at the first match-point, winning for the first time the "Master", while Svitolina failed to defend the title won last year.
