ROLAND GARROS 2015 FINALS :
Men' s Singles : Stanislas Wawrinka (8) won his second Grand Slam title in career (after the 2014 Australian Open), defeating Novak Djokovic (1) 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 In a final well played by both players, the world' s N° 1 won the first set with an only break in 7th game, but Wawrinka didn' t give up and won the second set, breaking Djokovic on 5-4; in third set the Swiss player broke Djokovic in 5th game and won 6-3; in fourth set the Serbian went 3-0, but was broken in 5th game and also in 9th, with Wawrinka closing the match at his second Championship point after 3h 12'. ROLAND GARROS 2015 FINALS :
Women' s Singles : Serena Williams (1) won her 20th Grand Slam tournament in career (third in Paris), defeating Lucie Safarova (13) 6-3, 6-7 (2), 6-2 The world' s N° 1 won easily the first set with an only break in fourth game, then went 4-1 with two breaks in second set, but she felt the preassure and she lost two times her serve, she managed to serve for the match on 6-5, but Safarova broke her back again, dominating the tie-break 7-2. In third set the Czech player went 2-0, but Serena won 6 games in a row, winning the match and the French Slam after 2h 02'. Even if Williams suffered a flu syndrome in the second week of the tournament (specially in the semi-final match against Bacsinszky), she proved to be the best in women' s tennis; Safarova, who played her first Grand Slam final in career, played a great tournament and, from next week, she will enter for the first time in the WTA' s Top 10, at N° 7.
