BOXE : Former WBO heavyweight champion Tommy David Morrison
died yesterday in a Nebraska hospital at the age of 44 probably due to Guillain-Barrè syndrome he was suffering from a long time. He became champion in 1993 defeating George Foreman and lost the title in 1995 against Lennox Lewis; in his career he won 48 matches (42 for ko) and lost only 3 times, he was also chosen by Sylvester Stallone to play Tommy Gunn character in "Rocky V".
