Because of some pc problems yesterday
 ...is here a short comment of the Race of Champions from yesterday : The result of Champions of Champions : Romain Grosjean beat Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen to claim the 25th Race of Champions title in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday. The Lotus F1 driver won the final with a score of two to nil, adding his name to the list of winners and making it France’s second victory in a row after Sébastien Ogier's 2011 triumph. Romain GrosjeanGrosjean graduated from Group D, losing his first race against Michael Schumacher but defeating IndyCar champion Ryan Hunter-Reay and Kazuya Ohshima; he then took a surprise victory in the quarter final against Sebastian Vettel, who was stopped by a failure on his rear-right suspension after tapping the wall, before taking revenge for his group-stage defeat by defeating Schumacher in the semi-final. Tom Kristensen, who lost the 2011 final to Ogier, eliminated the reigning champion in the quarter final before dispatching David Coulthard in the semi-final to set up the final with Grosjean – but, as with last year, the Frenchman was one opponent too many for the eight-times Le Mans winner. The result is a vindication for the beleaguered Grosjean, who showed great skill in his first complete Formula One season, but also incurred in the wrath of stewards and fellow drivers alike for a string of first-lap crashes. They did it again
....6 years in a row !!!!!!!They arrived today , they only practiced today ...and they won for the 6th time !!!!Race of Champions: Vettel, Schumacher win Nations' Cup for Germany: Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel claimed their sixth consecutive Race of Champions Nations' Cup victory for Team Germany. The duo dominated the event, which was held for the first time in Bangkok's Rajamangala Stadium, winning every head-to-head tie in which they competed. In the final, Schumacher defeated Formula 1 rival Romain Grosjean in the first heat after the Lotus driver lost a lot of time with a lurid slide at the last corner in the KTM X-Bow. Vettel then defeated World Rally Championship ace Sebastien Ogier in the second race to clinch the Nations' Cup title. Speaking after the victory, Schumacher vowed to return in 2013 in search of a record-extending seventh crown. "For sure, we're going to be here, that's a must," said Schumacher. "Actually, my lucky number is seven so we are going to push hard!" Team Australia, represented by four-time Australian V8 Supercar champion Jamie Whincup and five-time 500cc motorcycle champion Mick Doohan, had a strong run to the semi-finals before being knocked out by Germany. But Team Germany did have its only major scare of the evening against Australia, with Vettel understeering into the barrier driving the 570bhp Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo before recovering to win. In the other semi-final, Team France defeated the All Star team of Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen and two-time MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo. In the group stages that preceded the semi finals, France and the All Stars qualified from a group that also contained the Americas and British teams. Team Americas, represented by IndyCar champion Ryan Hunter-Reay and Production World Rally champion Benito Guerra, only missed out on a semi-final slot on a best time tiebreaker after matching the All Stars team's three group stage victories. British pairing David Coulthard and Andy Priaulx only won twice, with both drivers losing wins to penalties for touching the barriers. In the other group, the ROC Asia-winning Team India finished third with two wins for Karun Chandhok and Narain Karthikeyan, with both drivers struggling after having no prior opportunity to learn the track's chicane, which had been revised overnight. Team Thailand finished bottom of the table with one win shared by Charoensukawattana Nattavude and Tin Sintrai. [hidden image - please register] Sergei Bubka Jr., number 185 in the world rankings for the Atp, son of the greatest pole vaulter in history Sergei Bubkae boyfriend of world number one women's tennis, the Belarusian Azarenka Vicktoria. The boy, aged 25, was admitted to the hospital Georges Pompidou in Paris with several fractures throughout the body after falling yesterday morning at 7 am from the fourth floor of the apartment at 16th arrondissement, where he resided. According to a first reconstruction, Bubka Jr. had been locked in the bathroom and then she thought to get back into the bedroom through the window. Once outside, however, Bubka slipped and fell on the ledge below. promptly rescued by an ambulance, Bubka was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the hospital, but later it was learned that have not been affected vital organs and then his condition is serious but the boy is not life threatening. Police are still investigating the incident. get well soon |
