[hidden image - please register]
Starting from next season I would like to run a Premier League Predictor Thread. The rules will go as follows: After a rethink, I decided to scrap a bonus point being awarded just for getting the outcome of the game correct. The revised version is what I'd call tried and trusted and takes just a wee bit more thought when it goes into the prediction being made knowing just how valuable a point is to obtain. For each exact prediction made 1 point will be awarded, it may not seem much but it all adds up as the season goes on. I only intend in running this competition if enough members are interested in participating. A League table will be posted at the end of each game play. It should be an exciting season, can Leicester City do it again and what about Man United under Jose Mourinho. We have a few months before the new season kicks off. Hopefully by this time I should be able to obtain a suitable number for participation The fixtures will be posted in advance of each game on this page. [hidden link - please register] Right so this is it. Thank you everybody for your participation throughout the course of the season so this is what we have all been waiting for. The climax of the season so it gives me great pleasure to congratulate best-reporting who is this seasons champion Infact I can't recall a moment when he wasn't sitting at the top of the table but tonight is his night so this will give him bragging rights for years to come An honourable mention too goes to Italianfan for finishing up as the runner up and finally a special mention goes to Ralkin123 who despite finishing bottom can take great pride in the way in which he closed the gap in the end to just 3 points. Definitely one member to keep an eye out for next season based on his later form as the season came to a close. No doubt some of you will be more happier than others with your final league position but as they say its all about the taking part and like everything you have to have winners and losers in order to have a competition. In the real world Chelsea become the new champions but all in all its been a very enjoyable season. I thank you all The night belongs to best-reporting, congratulations once again [hidden image - please register] [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] best-reporting [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] Italianfan [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] oberon [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] quiquems [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] LeahLuv [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] Scottishbloke, Towelie [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] Lutonbloke [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] Rallkin123 |

Thank you to everybody; I can make a speech.
To Scottishbloke it was a competition run as a professional [I think one mistake only this year and quick to correct ] It is a good reason for members to visit to the forum to keep playing and I hope also for new players to join in August. There are always the updates at the correct time and filled with interesting comments for us to read. I might be lucky to have so many points this year; we can see again next year if this is true. I will enjoy being the champion now Italianfan and Oberon also have made more than average 1 point in each round; well done and better luck again. Rallkin123 has scored so many points in the late weeks it has surprised us. I think he has found the secret now We can enjoy a rest for now but all return again soon. |

I welcome you all here for what will be the final time this season. I would just like to say what an absolute pleasure it has been running this competition. It seems like I've been doing it forever so I am very relived that the final whistle has now blown here too so that we can all take a well deserved break from this Thread. I will post a brand new Thread in the coming days and look forward to hopefully welcoming you all back in August with some new members to the competition too (fingers crossed)
So 36 points were up for grabs. Lets see how you all fared. The good news is that nobody scored 0 points but a few of us only just managed the 1 Onto the member with the most correct predictions and this honour went to Italianfan who scored 6 Now just as I have done previously I shall take the lazy route out here and post a link to all the results as I don't have the energy to manually type them up! [hidden link - please register] Correct Predictions: [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] Italianfan [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] quiquems, Rallkin123 [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] best-reporting, oberon, Towelie [hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register][hidden link - please register] LeahLuv [hidden link - please register] Lutonbloke, Scottishbloke Final League Table for season 2016/17 is now up.
