I think he'll look at his thigh and remember his old battlefield injury and Siegmann. not to forget that I don't want Ewald. thankfully Werder won't go the typical way and promote the coach of the second team. sadly I cannot give a comment about the players of the second team because after far too many years Wolter I simply gave up to watch the second team some years ago. |

The 36-year-old midfielder announced his retirement on Sunday after the 3-1 defeat at Twente Enschede in which he was sent off 19 minutes before time for a second bookable offence. LeahLuv wrote:I´m not a Werder insider, but shouldn´t they more looking after of some good defenders . even with Wiese - Naldo & Merte Werder was without a defence but they made usually enough goals. the last good defence was under Otto with Pannen-Olli as the goalie (and maybe Rune as the Tower of the Defence but not sure about it ).thus it's not a problem of defenders but a problem of a missing defence system under Schaaf. of course were will be next season without a first class centre backs if Socke leaves, the back wingers are a Werder problem since decades, about Miele nobody is sure but the main problem is the missing 6 since Baumann stopped playing soccer. also Lutscher was no real 6 and this season we've been playing without a real 6 or with a 6 without the necessary class for the 1. Bundesliga. a lot of work for Eichin and the new coach.
