anyway back to topic on the radio transmission to hamilton from mclaren said they mercedes where on the same program as them in practice 2. so going by todays times should close in qualifying.

thanks for that.but i mean in 2 or 3 races time when the othere teams and drivers start putting official complaints which they always do.
shame because thats when you see the best drivers at work getting around the problem cars and more chance of seeing overtaking .yes points system is better because last year it did not really matter if you came in first or second  the winner will be the winner this year.anyway despite my moaning still going to be 1 of the best seasons in years top drivers in top cars.

@dazaman, this is the rule in 2010 for the qualification .
Qualifying: This is run over an hour and is split into three sessions. In Q1 (the first session) all cars may take to the track and complete as many or as few laps as they like. At the end of the 20-minute session there is a seven-minute break and the slowest eight cars are eliminated and the times re-set. Q2 is run to the same rules over 15 minutes, and at the end of the session a further eight cars are eliminated. This leaves the last 10 cars to fight it out in Q3 for the top spot in a session that lasts ten minutes. And also inportant to know the points system for this year ! Points: The points system will be dramatically altered in 2010. The points awarded to the top four finishers are increased and points will be given down to the tenth place finisher as follows: 1st= 25 : 2nd = 20 : 3rd = 15 : 4th = 10 : 5th = 8 : 6th = 6 : 7th= 5 : 8th= 3 : 9th = 2 : 10th= 1 Kind Regards shaky-schumi |

just wondering if the fia would bring back the 104% rules in qualifying if the new cars are that bad. because would kill the new teams straight away witch would not benefit f1.

Here is some news of what was happend and say'd in F1 this week !
USF1 is officialy out of of F1 ,they have bin taken out of the list of the official entry grid list ( this was a big mistake of tis team to enter so fast in F1 ,they should have first take the time to have enough budget to come around atleashed for 1 season , they should have also taken the time for bringing in some sponsors ,they should have taken the time to test there cars ,they should have taken also the time to select the drivers more precisly/careful instead of always take a driver who brings money with hime ( like some other teams do ) ,they should take the time to learn the car inside and outside when they take the car on a test circuit, with other words just make a test year and after that year you can enter the F1 like Toyota did ! ) With the USF1 not entering the F1 the other team Stefan GP thought that they might/could enter the F1 grid( they where allready convinced that they could take there place even when they don't have the licence to drive this season ) ,but the FIA wil not let them enter ,there is no place for this team ,the explenation of the FIA is " it's not possible for a replacement team to enter the F1 is this late stage " ( so this means no J.Villeneuve on the grid ) Campos Meta 1 has changed there name into Hispania Racing ,the tem is named this after Grupo Hispania,a company owned by the Spaniard Jose Ramon Carabante ,one of there drivers is a very well known name ( atleashed his surname !!!!) Bruno Senna ,and the second driver is Indier Karun Chandhok ( after Narain Karthikeyanwho drove for Jordan in 2005 is this the second Indier driver who takes part in the F1 ),Senna and Chandhok are not stranger to eachother because there will be driving again together like they where teammates at iSport in de GP2 classes ) Renault will be working together with the Russian car maker Lada ,this means Renault will have the logo of Lada on both there cars ,Renault will also have the first Russian driver ever in F1 ,his name Vitaly Petrov ,he will also have the logo on his driving gear ,the deal was also undersigned by the Russian Premier Vladimir Poetin ! Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali say'd " there will be no space for making errors this year ,every single mistake how little it also may be can cost us a lot in a short time and specialy at the end of the season !!! " Hamilton " racing against Schumacher is very special ! " Hamilton conformt " i did not behave well against Alonso in 2007 " The FIA will take a close look at the rear wing design because some say'd it's not legal ! For the people who are interested this afternoon there will be a review of the " 2009 season " on BBC1 . It wil begin at 14.00u til 15.00u ( for the the british fans it will start at 13.00u till 14.00u because of there time running 1 hour behind ) For me personaly it was a season to forget because of the bad season of Ferrari and i'm sure there are many of you Ferrari fans who has the same opion about this ! But i as a F1 fan i'm sure gonna watch this program annyway .

USF1 Team is asking the FIA if they can skip the 2010 season !!!!! ( i personely find that it was a mistake to let them start annyway , i find that they should have asked the FIA if they could have tested a whole year like Toyota did before they joined and than join the F1 a year later ,in this year they could learn the car and than they will also have the time to get a budget for that season )

These are the results from yesterday ,after some brief rain the track dry'd up very soon and the drivers where back on the track to furfill they duty !!! After seeïng the McLaren,Red Bull and Renault with a shark fin it was up to Ferrari to test with this body work !
