Well, congrats to Lewis Hamilton to his 4th consecutive victory in Silverstone.
However, for me personally driver of the day is Daniel Riccardo making 5th place after his start from the tail end of the field. Besides, also great driving from Valtteri Bottas making the 2nd after his start from 9th place. Ferrari lost with the tire strategy. Both drivers having made the pit stop 1 or 2 laps later they wouldn't have run in such issues. Verstappen again showed that his driving is on the razors edge of being just within the rules. I do not like this guy, neither his way of driving causing others off the track, accepting them to crash their cars, or at least taking the risk. Talent ? Likely yes. But on the other hand just a boorish driver. |
