shaky-schumi wrote:...Have a nice week everyone ...and enjoy the shows ! Dear shaky, I'm sure you're waiting for every race with a great pleasant anticipation and the race is often the Highlight of the week. So I would ask you to enjoy the race and please don't see any need to post the new ranking as soon as possible. I'm sure nobody will be angry about you if the new ranking is posted one day later or at least some hours later. We all enjoy being part in this game and I (and probably all other participants, too) hope that you enjoy this game and the race as much as we do. So please don't put any preasure on yourself and sit down, relax, watch the race and maybe drink some beer but don't feel a need to post the new ranking immediately. There is in general one week or more till the next race and so please take all the time you want and need. Enjoy the race. |

the podium of the last 3 Valencia GP (Gran Prix of Europa)
2010 1 Sebastian Vettel Red Bull 2 Lewis Hamilton Mc Laren 3 Jenson Button Mc Laren fastest lap on race: Jenson Button Mc Laren 2009 1 Rubens Barrichello Brawn-Mercedes 2 Lewis Hamilton Mc Laren 3 Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari fastest lap on race: Timo Glock Toyota 2008 1 Felipe Massa Ferrari 2 Lewis Hamilton Mc Laren 3 Robert Kubica BMW Sauber fastest lap on race: Felipe Massa Ferrari for the third time the European Grand Prix takes place in Valencia In the past, this race was also held on the Nürburgring, Donington Park, Brands Hatch, Jerez de la Frontera GP Europe 1993 (Donington Park) a masterpiece – the first lap of Senna from 5° to 1° place in one lap GP Europe 1997 (Jerez de la Frontera) the famous crash between M. Schumacher and Jacques Villeneuve It was the final race of the 1997. Schumacher retired after the collision, while Villeneuve continued the race and won the world championship. On Saturday Villeneuve, M Schumacher and Frentzen got the same time in qualifying. Starting order was decided by who recorded the time, first. Last year there was the Mark Webber’s terrifying accident Valencia is a street circuit that is faster than Monaco; top speeds is of over 300 km/h - and average speeds of 200 km/h; The track has been criticised for not encouraging overtaking on all three occasions F1 has visited, but this year will have two DRS zones The first zone will run after Turn 10, with the second zone after Turn 14. The single detection area will be 130 metres before Turn 8. The use of a single detection zone means that a driver who is behind a rival(less than one second) in the detection zone can use his DRS both to overtake in the first activation zone and then to pull out a gap at the second. The medium tyre(denoted by white markings) can make its debut, and will be used as “prime” The soft tyre(yellow) will be used, as “option”, instead of the supersoft tyre, as previously announced. The circuit is particularly demanding on the brakes with several heavy braking zones and the track is at least 14 metres wide along its entire length, and very smooth. There are 25 corners, the highest number of any currently used circuit |

The Bahrain Grand Prix will not be raced this year it was re-scheduled from 13th march to 3rd october but as now been scrapped.
Instead on the 3rd october the FIA have decided that the inaugural Indian Grand Prix will go ahead as originally planned. So far Bahrain is still on next years provisional calendar for the 11th march, lets see if there are any changes to that in the future. |

The race was one of the most enjoyable races for years and still we get the moaners. Its sport enjoy the spectacle not the result. (Must say I enjoyed the result though) |

For Raiuno rain was a bless rather than an effort, since they got high figure audience till midnight: between 21:00 and 24:00 they got an average of 6 million viewers, while definitely less than 4 were expected, with the scheduled show. |
