The doctor said one year of rehab but he hopes he could drive again

Thank God!
It will take at least a year for rehabilitation. So Lotus Renault Team (one of two Lotus teams in 2011 Championship) has to find a substitute (maybe one among test drivers Grosjean and Bruno Senna). |

No amputation of right hand is needed of Robert Kubica !!!!
 More news about how the surgery went from hospital and Manager of R.C. will follow later today or tomorrow !!! I wish Robert a speedy recovery !!! These are the last results of this week testing at the Valencia circuit ...only Team Lotus will stay because on friday they will have a private session ( filming day )

Narain Karthikeyan HRT F1 Team F110 : 1:16.535 + 3.391 Laps : 63 Today was the first time that Felipe took the F150 on to the circuit ..and than this happend Felipe Massa had a dramatic start to testing in Valencia when his Ferrari caught fire in the first hour of running. Felipe went off, and smoke and flames appeared from the back of the car as he rejoined. He carried on for a few more corners before spinning to a halt on the oil coming from the back of his Ferrari. The session was red-flagged while the F150 was recovered and marshals worked to clean up the oil. A Ferrari spokesman had this to say : As he was coming to the end of his first run of laps, Felipe Massa had to park at the side of the track, with an oil leak caused by a broken clamp. Unfortunately the lubricant ended up on the exhausts which led to a small fire breaking out and that caused some damage to the car. The mechanics immediately set to work on repairing the damage . It took the team 5 hours to repair the car ,at the end of the day Felipe managed to complete 80 Las on the final day of testing . So let us hope that this was just a one time thing and that at next test week will be better for Felipe  The next test will be next week from thursday 10 th till saturday the 13th of februari at the Jerez circuit !
