"Kalimba de Luna" is a 1984 single by Italian musician Tony Esposito, taken from his album - Il grande esploratore. "Kalimba de Luna" was instantly covered by German group Boney M. for the German market, giving the group their first Top 20 hit in three years.. |

Back in the day we used to have long winded discussions in the pub as to which Girls Aloud babe we'd love to pork with the ginger one always coming bottom of the desire list but still said we would if she was the last choice, my favourite was always Kimberley, although the popular choice was always Cheryl
Back in 2004 Girls Aloud covered the Pretenders hit I'll Stand By You in aid of Children In Need and to be honest I think they did better than the original 3 Years later in 2007 Girls Aloud and The Sugababes teamed up with the cover of Run DMC's Walk This Way, the occasion this time was for Comic Relief, so 2 sexy girl bands left us really spoilt for choice |

With the news this week on the death of David Bowie I thought it would be very appropriate to feature one of his songs being covered and it was actually a collaboration between Queen as both artists held equal royalties when it came to the sales of the record, sadly this was the only collaboration they ever did together which proved to be a very interesting mix between the Queen and David Bowie sound. Sadly Freddie Mercury and David Bowie never ever did perform this live together, back in 1986 there were rumours that he was going to join them on stage for the Wembley concerts as he just so happened to attend at least one of them. This was only a rumour but it would have been nice to see. David Bowie did however perform this live in 1992 with the remaining members of Queen at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. I shall upload a few of them along with the Josh Stone cover version.
