One of my favorite games then as now is Sid Meier´s Pirates! ... what a surprise!
I still like to play the revised edition from 2004 and I have still my old Amiga to play the old version. |

Good idea as i have a long history, before 2000
My first choice of games i remember on my atari st 520 was like many what will end up here, the retro games and most now look out dated but at the time we viewed them as we view the latest console games with drooling This game i played and of course lost my temper a lot, but was good Speedball 2 - Atari St Next was one of my early games of grand prix, again was about the best out there and was playable Vroom Circuit 1 (Atari ST) The next grand prix game was made with Aguri Sazuki, he was one of the first japanese F1 drivers at the time, this put me off playing any for a long time due to just like how he drove, you could never get around a corner, even if you was going at 1mph, it would spin you around no matter Anyway i got over that and got an N64 and with it having a stick controller made it almost to the standards of todays controls, i probably liked this f1 game for most of my time and looking at the youtube vid it now looks dated but yep, great gameplay F1 World Grand Prix - N64 |
