The Yellow Sea (2010)
The story of a cab driver in Yanji City, a region between North Korea, China and Russia. His wife goes to Korea to earn money, but he doesn't hear from her since in 6 months. He plays mah-jong to make some extra cash, but this only makes his life worse; but then he meets a hitman who proposes to turn his life around by repaying his debt and reuniting with his wife, just for one hit. 7.5/10

La mala ordina aka Manhunt aka The Italian Connection (1972)

This movie with the two hitmen teamed up, one black and one white inspired Quentin Tarantino for the characters played by John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction. 7.5/10

Who's Harry Crumb? (1989)
Harry Crumb is a bumbling and inept private investigator who is hired to solve the kidnapping of a young heiress which he's not expected to solve because his employer is the mastermind behind the kidnapping. Not the best John Candy movie but still very funny at moments 6.5/10

Re: Last Movie You Watched!

The Babadook - 2014 - A single mother, plagued by the violent death of her husband, battles with her son's fear of a monster lurking in the house, but soon discovers a sinister presence all around her.

Now don't be fooled by the IMDB rating of this movie. We all know the internet is full of trolls and they even write up shit on IMDB too. This movie is a steaming pile of shit! I've seen some shitty movies this year, but this is close to the top of my shit list.

I'm not the type of person who likes to turn off a movie before the movie finishes, but I was close with this. Why? The characters annoyed the hell out of me, especially the kid AngryAngryAngryAngry It was so depressing, I felt like slitting my own throat at one point lol Never again would I put myself through watching this shit again Thumb down

7.1 on IMDB LOL. I'll give a 3.3/10 Thumb down Big Grin

Watch at your own risk lol

No Tears for the Dead - 2014 - A hit man traumatized from accidentally killing a young girl during a job is given the mission to eliminate her mother, and begins the ultimate fight to save her life.

Re: Last Movie You Watched!

Flu - 2013 - The worst epidemic ever seen is sweeping through Bundang, the suburb of Seoul. After smuggling illegal immigrants into the country, Byung-woo dies from an unknown virus. Soon after that, the same symptoms are plaguing scores of residents in Bundang. People are helpless against the airborne disease and the number of infected increases quickly, spreading chaos. As the worst-case scenario precaution, the city of half a million people, just 19 kilometers from Seoul, is about to be sealed off. The government orders a complete shutdown. Meanwhile, infectious disease specialist In-hye and rescue worker Ji-goo go into the closed city to find the blood serum of the index case, a crucial part of developing the vaccine.

It was pretty good. There was a few shitty CGI moments, but not much CGI was used throughout the movie, so it's forgivable. There was some English speaking throughout the movie, but the American actors for them parts was terrible, really bad Angry

I'll give this a 6/10, would have been a 7/10 if they had ditched the crappy American actors Big Grin

Re: Last Movie You Watched!

All Cheerleaders Die (2013)
A rebel girl signs up a group of cheerleaders to help her take down the captain of their high school football team, but a supernatural turn of events thrusts the girls into a different battle. Yesterday night i watched this movie with my friends for Halloween, i loved the previous Lucky McKee films The Woman and May but this is very bad, all the characters are completely assholes and all you will want is to see them die as soon as possible, at the end there is also the announcement for part 2 damn Thumb down 4/10

Re: Last Movie You Watched!

Lucy - 2014 - A woman, accidentally caught in a dark deal, turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.

Apart from the fact that, Scarlett Johansson was in this movie, I hated it. She's hot, this movie is cold. I also can't understand why the hell, Min-sik Choi took this roll Sad

4/10 Thumb down

Re: Last Movie You Watched!

Horns - 2013 - Pretty much agree with what, galahad said. But I actually didn't mind it, I would watch it again.

The Houses October Built - 2014 - Beneath the fake blood and cheap masks of countless haunted house attractions across the country, there are whispers of truly terrifying alternatives. Looking to find an authentic, blood-curdling good fright for Halloween, five friends set off on a road trip in an RV to track down these underground Haunts. Just when their search seems to reach a dead end, strange and disturbing things start happening and it becomes clear that the Haunt has come to them...

The idea of the movie is pretty cool, but the director failed badly with this one. With some more TLC this could have been pretty good. 4/10 Thumb downAngry It's still worth a watch Big Grin

Re: Last Movie You Watched!

The Wrong Box (1966)
In Victorian England, a fortune now depends on which of two brothers outlives the other... or can be made to have seemed to do so! Very funny british comedy 7.5/10
p.s.: the film is in color

The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh (2012)
An antiques collector inherits a house from his estranged mother only to discover that she had been living in a shrine devoted to a mysterious cult. Soon, he comes to suspect that his mother's oppressive spirit still lingers within her home and is using items in the house to contact him with an urgent message. Boring and inconclusive 4.5/10

Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time - 2012 - On the verge of being fired, a corrupt customs official finds a haul of drugs and teams up with a vicious gangster to become the most powerful crime partnership in Busan.

Another excellent movie, but what do you expect? if Min-sik Choi is featured in a movie you can always guarantee it's gonna be a first class. Jung-woo Ha is another great actor, you should check out some of his movies too. The Yellow Sea, The Chaser and The Berlin File. All three are excellent movies Big Grin

Anyway, back on topic Tongue Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time - 8/10 Thumb upThumb up
