Best Actor - Classic Movies

My classic was in UK movies of the 50's or even earlier for there movies but, those i remember as they either made me laugh or wondered what was coming next, some, you need to look up to find out how much they actually did, i sadly can't add videos of most as i can't find the movies that interested me in them, i mean full Smile

Lets start with Sir Alec Guinness, yes very, very well known but some classics of course earlier than star wars where missed Sad

And i think for me, "Kind Hearts and Coronets" was one of those i remember him so much for, yes it was killing family but i laughed at the ways and it made you feel to a point he had a valid reason, not often i could say that Cool

Next is Alistair Sim and one of the few i would watch almost any film he was in! Remember i'm not a big film buff, he was in so many film and no doubt i missed a lot, i still think one of the best actors of his generation Thumb up

So many films its countless, ok someone will decide to tell me Tongue but i know enough and can't really pick just 1 one of his films Cool

But i think no arm in looking for yours Smile

Next again i'm sure many know, David Niven, [hidden link - please register]

And for me the best movie i saw with him in and a great cast was [hidden link - please register] to me one i would sit and watch from start to finish, which is basically a rare thing for me Smile

Now the next was in the previous film with David Niven and i thought he was great in that too but, now we have Roger Livesey and to me one who seems to be missed from a mention Sad

Possibly my favourite movie classic of all-time is him in the lead [hidden link - please register] full of British gusto at the time and moments of propaganda but, it was a story and with reason at this time, i can only say, i enjoy watching when they repeat it on bbc 2 most years Smile

So thats my selection and i hope you decide to add yours Smile
