Re: Bluebird TV - General Discussion

With women like Charmaine Sinclair, Faye Rampton, Alisha Roads, Camilla (the 59 year old) it was pretty obviously going to end.
Also that other woman Foxxy someone she's over on the Red Light TV channel now,

People pay £1.50 a minute to speak to women who are no better than the standard of women you see working in supermarkets. infact some of these supermarket women are beautiful and could easily star on the show.

Women like Emma C, Cara Steel, Ferne Sascha, Camilla Jayne and Gracie, (and a few more who i can't remember the names of) now they are worth paying to chat to.

Just last week on Friday, a guy tweeted BBTV and said he was sorry to hear about their financial problems, BBTV tweeted back and said we don't have any financial problems, we just have the 2 girls due to line rates.

5 days later and the end has been announced.

Red Light TV are just as bad, they've got a TV / shemale working on there these days.

Re: Bluebird TV - General Discussion

Closure had more to do with the Huge ofcom fine they decided not to pay thats been on there for a while

basically Bluebird tv was Paul Baxendale walkers plaything he wanted to be next hugh hefner.

the writing was on the wall over last 6 months. First his Weekly mag to take on Zoo and Nuts Zip went after about 6 issues. Loaded Tv was short lived and then looks like loaded mag is next as it hasnt had an issue in 2 months. Bluebird was a matter a time every girl ive spoken to from there sort of knew it was going to happen

then it comes to the court case involving Natasha anastasia. apparently his Girlfriend and when they split up he is after her Flat and RangeRover he gave her as a gift. its been all over the media even had a section on the wright stuff about it

Anyway hope the girls get what they are owed and the ones that want to carry on will do so

Re: Bluebird TV - General Discussion

The channel has been falling apart for a while now though. And the quality of the shows has suffered significantly as a result. I do hope that the top talent find their way to other shows. Glad to see Ella Mai move to S66.
It's amazing how quickly BB went from the likes of Natasha Anastasia, Sammie P and the likes to its current crop of disasters. The closure has been on the cards for a while now and I hope this opens up a new opportunity for perhaps a new channel, one which might go and find some new young and energetic talent. Red Light is currently the only top brand offering new girls a chance and S66 seem to be relying on their experienced talent and picking up the gems such as Ella and Tammy from other channels.
We await...

They started off breaking every rule in the book, this partly resulted in Ofcom being on the backs of all the babe channels , SEL the owners of Sport channels got a massive fine for BB rule breaches, BB have been continuing to break rules and get SEL Ofcom fines to this day, SEL the owner of the BB licence and channels has very recently had it's company status changed to "in Dissolution" in official company reports, BB will not be allowed to broadcast much longer using the Sport channels that's for sure .

The owners of the Babeworld group of channels had their licenses revoked by Ofcom for not being in full control of their channels and licenses that BB were using .

The people behind the Live 960 channel that BB were using also had their licence revoked by Ofcom for repeatedly refusing to disclose the changes to the company's set up, ie new directors etc, by law company's have to inform Ofcom about any changes to the company set up, they wouldn't tell Ofcom who the new company director was, so Ofcom took away their licence, It turned out to be Paul Chaplin by the way

The Blue Kiss channel disappeared as well for reasons unknown as did Live 99

So what has BB legacy been, they have had a hand in getting 3 or 4 channels licences revoked, 2 disappearing for unknown reasons and and the only company left of the original BB TV channel take over is up to it's neck in Ofcom problems and is presently in dissolution,
Has BB coming to the babe channels been a good thing ?, well that's for people to make their own mind up but it's definately resulted in some channels last used by BB going out of business for one reason or another

Good post, which basically sums up what I expect to happen in the not to near future is to see these channels removed by Ofcom, due to the licence holder SEL owing £40K and waiting for companies house to strike them off. A dissolved company can not hold a licence full stop.

Re: Bluebird TV - General Discussion

I don't agree with everything what you're saying guys. Ppl are talking about BB going down for about 2 years now, lol.
Constant complaining about camera being static is an utter bullshit. I dare to say that in past month there were more POV night sessions on BB than on all other channels combined together.
This channel gets shit load of criticism because of the fact who's the boss more than what it has to offer.

Re: Bluebird TV - General Discussion

I think it could well be the case of bye bye Bluebird, which will be a shame, as a few years ago they had a great line up and were on the up, but these days ofcom has strangled the channels, yet Bluebird are really under the cosh. The £40K fine to SEL may well have something to do with getting rid of girls, some are dead wood, but which channels these days don't have dead wood. Is it a way of cost cutting to pay the fine or is it the beginning of the end! Ofcom are currently investigating SEL (company which holds the licences, not Bluebird) who have asked companies house to be struck off. So how does a company hold licences with £0 money and are looking to cease trading, I can see Ofcom just pulling the licences very soon which will see Bluebird go unless they apply for licences themselves.

Their dayshows are easily the worst going with borderline, non-existent camera work and increasingly, unmotivated models. Actually, that goes for nights too. Which is where the "we're losing diversity" argument falls flat imo. In terms of performance, they offered virtually no diversity. As for the girls, I can't see them moving to any other channel and not making some improvement. Even sitting up would be a step in the right direction. And I don't mean to fault the 2 or 3 girls who actually seemed willing, or were allowed, to put on a show. So, assuming some of the girls can find their way onto other channels where they can stretch their legs in an upright position, get some decent camerawork more than once a night, and actually be encouraged to move around past noon (or midnight), it's byebye bluebird.

I agree and yet 3 years ago they were the most innovative & watchable channel of all with a range of girls (many of them the same) who knew how to put on some great shows and did so regularly. Also, I don't watch much daytime, but in my opinion, the criticism about static girls and non existent camerawork applies to all the channels - well those that broadcast 24 hours anyway, because some don't. And are their nightshows really that much worse than storm/expanded or even many of the sets on the other 3 main channels? These things go in cycles and it wasn't long ago that bs were taking the flak for being boring.
If we were talking about one of the other channels, the criticism would be the same but the general feeling would be 'wish they'd sort it out' but because its bb, it seems that so many people seem to be willing them to go bust.
So I accept the criticism, but what they've given us everyday is 4 channels, 24 hrs a day with about 50 girls that otherwise wouldn't be on tv - and thats what we'll lose if they go (have already started losing) along with the potential that they can get it right again.

Re: Bluebird TV - General Discussion

The schedule is now up for October and it shows the cut-backs in shifts and girls mentioned here:
[hidden link - please register]
Looks like they're going with just 2 girls for each shift, with a few exceptions, and several girls seem to have been cut completely (I don't know if she has a long holiday coming up, but amazed that looks like Hannah Mac may be one of them...)
Regardless of what some individuals think of the owners or specific girls, I think its a shame to lose any of the channels, even bb, and I hope something else comes along that can accommodate the girls that have lost out and make up the variety and choice available to us on tv particularly.
I know most of the girls are moving into 'on-demand' web-cams (mfc, adultwork, chaturbate, glamlounge etc) which is all very well but hideously expensive but it may mean some girls will disappear altogether. Let's hope its just another turn on the babeshow merry-go round - I think Hannah would fit pretty well with S66...

Re: Bluebird TV - General Discussion

SEL the licencee of the BBTV channels has just been fined £40,000 by Ofcom, yet the licencee is a non-trading company with £0 funds. So expect BBTV to disappear from our screens in the near future if the fine is not paid. It happened with Bang Babes when they never paid the fine, so we could be looking at 4 channels on borrowed time! Loaded TV has already gone bump in a short period of time so is the writing on the wall for these channels to!
