receiving channels

Hi
i really dont have a clue about satellite tv, so could anybody help me out with this? i just wanted to know why i receive some channels, but not the others - i have hotbird 13E - i receive sexysat 2 and 3, but not 1, divafutura live but none of the other df channels, and nothing from eurotic. does anybody know why this is and if i can get the other channels im missing? Thanks :) |

the receiver i have is panasat - i do regularly do new searches for channels - will go through the channels later incase the names didnt update

Which receiver do you own? As DB already said some receiver don't may not update the channel names automatically, so you should do a regular channel search.

Easy answer regards Sexy Sat 1. this only transmits on Astra.
As for the DF channels, they can appear on your receiver by various names. It is easier to check these by frquency rather than by name (applies also to many other channels - ie All Fun Tv appears on my receiver as Aktiv Direkt) The Eurotic channels are on Hotbird 6. It is possible (unlikely tho) that your receiver is unable to tune to the frequencies. Try doinf a full scan of all channels as that often picks up changes. |
