konvert .ts in a "normal" video formal.

Hello,
I'm looking for a konverter to konvert .ts videos into a normal video format.
I used the DVR-Studios HD2, but it was a trial version.

Working with .ts is a kind of lottery, Avidemux is free and works fairly good, but at least with my recordings (Technisat S1) sometimes it creates annoying artefacts. And the conversion is pretty slow respectively requires a pretty powerful computer
The only total flawless free program I found until now is GOM Converter, but the free version is embedding a rather big promotion text, so for serious use you need to purchase it, but if you spend money anyway you should consider to purchase a video editing program.
Corel Video Studio Pro X5 is available as fully operationable 30 days trial version, with my recordings the artefact problems I still had with Corel Video Studio Pro X4 are also solved.

P.S. GOM Player is playing .ts videos pretty well on not to weak PCs, for playing on an up to date PC it's not necessarily needed to convert the videos at at all

I've always found .ts conversion rather unpredictable. I've tried many different brands of so called
.ts converter software and the only one that has been reasonably satisfactory for me has been

Hint, with judicious use of Google you should be able to find the software at at a very reasonable
price, ie free.
