Yes it's finally arrived, I upgraded 2 nights ago which took me just over an hour to install and because I was previously on Windows 8.1 like many people my upgrade was free. So far so good, I've been very impressed with the new operating system. The only browser I cannot yet get used to is Windows edge, thankfully I am still able to use explorer and Opera.
Anyhow like I say I've been very impressed so far and I'm pleased that those annoying menus have vanished so I can now put my mouse on any part of the desktop and I'm no longer getting bothered by them. Although 8.1 was a massive improvement on Windows 8 I have to say that Windows 10 just completes the transformation. I would highly recommend the free upgrade for anybody who hasn't already upgraded their system already |

The latest Windows 10 update is now available, if you received a notification yet then you soon will. A word of warning however, your computer/laptop will be out of action for at least 2 hours as its a fairly big update. Some people never update and I was once one of them but I realised the cost from this mistake in the past as I went through 3 laptops in the space of 6 years so I would highly recommend keeping everything up to date. So far I haven't noticed any changes but as ever they will be subtle.

For anybody having issues with streaming to their smart TV, the fault isn't with your telly, its with some of the latest updates. After goggling the issue I was surprised just how easy it was to fix because for the past few weeks I've been getting hit with cannot read file messages, I tried everything such as software updates to my TV and laptop and still same result. Here is how to fix the problem:
Go into windows media player and where it says streaming, click on it and you will be given a choice of devices, select your telly from the list, Now go to stream and bang it works again |

Windows 7 in my opinion was also a heap of shit, I remember the amount of updates it used to do, not to mention the amount of times your laptop would just fucking crash without warning, my last laptop had Windows 7 on it and yeah don't get me started on XP or Vista, they were also equally as bad Linux is just another operating system Andy, I've never used it but everybody who has it installed who I know seems to go on about it like its the greatest thing since sliced bread yet it barely has any programmes that will work to its name Yeah I must check out those videos you mentioned, its also the kind of thing I'd laugh at seeing people lose their shit Lol Good to have a bit of banter on this forum for a change, I get the impression that far too members take themselves far too seriously on this place, those lot need to lighten up and also have some banter |

What's Linex.... ? Now don't get me wrong, I have Windows 8.1 in a VM when I need to use Windows software, but most of the time I use osx on my hackintosh Windows xp.... what the fuck, rather use Vista than xp. |

What a cunty thing to say Andy and what a major inconvenience that would be You do know that Windows XP are no longer doing updates and Linex is overrated hence the reason Bill Gates is a millionaire |

Joker1305 wrote:Actually I didn't have a problem, only a few minutes delay during shut down when the updates have been installed Don't be too sure on this I also had a minor update the day before the major one, if if hasn't yet arrived in your country yet it will soon and in which case I shall allow you a few hours to type out a response as you'll need it seeing that your PC will be out of commission for this length of time! richardhead wrote:Windows10 now includes cortona voice search which was previously unavailable in most countries.Give it a go if you like talking to yoursef.LOL Well I've actually had this feature on my laptop for over a year now, infact it was one of the first things I noticed at the time of the opening post on this Thread but its next to useless, if the bird can't answer your question windows edge automatically does a google search for you instead so be very careful what question you ask her for fucks sake! |
