The state of the forum (ETV)

A few comments on zxcv's post below:-
It is a shame that the forum has two factions and even more of a shame that certain posts antagonise them.
As to your term "The Luckers", I'm afraid it holds no meaning for me, perhaps you could explain?
Throughout history, "civilizing societies" have used enslavement, torture and war to achieve their ends. Usually those being 'civilised' that have to accept what is imposed on their survivors.
Now, if you legitimately speak for the 'dreamers' in stating your "ultimate goal" then surely you should be having your argument with ETV who are in a position to affect a change.
Arguing here will not achieve that end.
Now to "Hilbert's extraordinary post":-
I recognise the effort put in to it.
Transcribing from a recording is a long and tedious process, especially if you are aiming for total accuracy.
My criticism was of the timeliness.
The topic had been 'discussed' to exhaustion at the time, about one month prior.
The controversy and polarization had passed and the thread had been quiet for a week.
It failed to generate discussion, only renewed the 'polarization'.
This may not have been the intent but it was the outcome.

The reaction towards Hilbert's extraordinary post about Karry's extreme behavior during the shows ….was quite remarkable .

Whether the post itself was justified or not , Fair or Not , Valid or not ….Has to be deleted or not …. worths the time which Hilbert has dedicated to it or not ……But at the end I think many will agree that the post was remarkable .

But What really interested me is that ….The post and the discussions resulting around it ….Have reflected to deep extend the current state of the ETV's section and threads ….

So , we can confidently say that yesterday discussions in Karry's thread … was another indication of the highly polarizing status inside ETV sections and threads.... and indirectly highlighted again the old constant battle between the regulars and the complainers .

For my part I do have friends from both parties , The regulars and The complainers ....I mean…The Luckers and The Dreamers….. ( By the way I count myself on the dreamers side …As I always like to complain and to dream as well .

What really confused me a lot is that .......what I have found out that nearly most of them ( I mean the most well known members from both parties ) are coming from ......A real civilizing societies…

As far as I can see (and please forgive me my friends I am just an ignorant man ) …The most distinguished quality of any civilizing society..... usually lies in accepting .." The others ".. exactly as they are …as long as they have never and they will never break the laws or rules of the society which they are emerging from .

So , The main issue here …Why it's so hard for every single member from both parties (who most of them are well educated , highly cultured and coming from a real civilizing societies ) …….to keep in mind this main principle

Accept the others as they are …and therefore, to put an end for this highly polarizing state inside ETV's sections and threads .

But then again, what still interests me the most is that ......How this highly polarizing status will end up :

Would the luckers knock out the dreamers and close their mouths..... and then , enjoy their own world without the usual noise from the dreamers side .

Or would the dreamers finally achieve their ultimate goal …Changing this miserable state that exists inside ETV world and pushing all the luckers out of their magic world ...( As usual just a dreams )

I am really very curious to know ….How things will end up ….But only time will tell …what exactly is going to happen ...and who will be emerged winner from this glorious battle .

Sorry for repeating myself and addressing the issue for the second time......But the whole situation became totally intolerable .

One more time ….we find the whole ETV sections and threads are in a highly polarizing status due to the endless , ongoing discussions , fights , clashes between the two old rivals .....

......The regulars VS the complainers

Now the question is ….

To when we could bear this extremely negative atmosphere all over the ETV sections since every team appears to be very determined to win this fake battle and proves that he is the right one .

So , Who will win the fake battle brothers …..

The members of the closed circle or say ..." The luckers " .....Or the other group the complainers or say ... " The dreamers "

But just another question ........Does the whole thing really worth all of that ????????

yes

1-I didn't say or claim that you are unfair moderator…and if you haven't been fair …..a discussion like this one won't ever be generated .

2-Contrary to what you though ….I am not angry because what has happened ….I see your position was very justified

3-Naturally I never listen to stories from one side only …..I have my own criteria.... and I use my common sense to figure out what exactly is happening …

And what I see is .....

Those members who insulted in a direct way the models ......and those members who used to make continued fights all over the forum .
While the other members who certainly have a big mouse and still making a lot of noise telling faking stories.

I could assure you that I see why they get punished ......I never blamed you or any other Mod for this...... and I see why things is being handled that way .

But if you want to listen to another point of view :

A lot of members lately have been trapped in a very tiny area ........

I started to worry a lot about the limits of freedom in our forum ......Maybe I wrong …maybe I am exaggerated ....but in the end I really wish to be the wrong one in this stance .....Am I ?

I look around me and I can see that ......The freedom of speech in our forum .....has been limited lately ....That's the way I say it .....and that's my own view .

It always interests me that most of the time of course i'm your friend, but in the next sentence choosing to accuse of abuse everyone as an opinion of everything that happens on this board and seems they don't need to know what or why things are done

You and all the others know the forum rules about multiple accounts and what happens and yes i did not follow our rules recently as the normal process is to, ban the second account (which was done) second is give a warning to that member (first rule i did not follow) next is for them to lose VIP status (again i decided not to follow that either) but i figured that member would not decide i was wrong with banning the second account.

I see you also say i'm a fair person but also say i may delete any of your posts at my choosing the freedom of speech as never changed on here but the content as to the point of no discussion unless you agree with everything that is said, whether it be "ah what a great show" or that other side "what a disaster this show is" then of course those 2 sides clash and of course us Mods are then under the microscope seeing who's side we choose, then after that we are to blame because one side will not be happy, regardless of what some choose to believe as an whole we decide right, and no i'm sure half will disagree with that

But i get the idea from your comments that we are to blame for "the state of the forum (ETV)" so a win win for some it also interests me that no one is ever wrong and will stand there ground even when proof is right in front of them, but nothing new there.

If people have full information then fine but half a story is no story and unlike some i will not fill in the blanks. just like private messages are what they say "private" then so is what happens behind the scenes of LSTV
