Completely didn't realise it at the time, but I went through the 1,000 post barrier this evening. If I had realised, I'd have made it a bit more memorable than a schedule update ;)
Now let's press on towards 2,000

Ok so I originally joined this forum under the name of davecoolio, I then took something of a long break before returning in 2012 under the new banner of Scottishbloke, I then take another break to return earlier this year.3rd time lucky for me as they say as I finally felt that now was the right time to fully embrace the forum, I thank all the members thus far who have repped me and thanked my posts. I've enjoyed my time here and I have absolutely no intention of taking another long break away from this place. I try to be versatile by contributing across the whole board as I'm just too damn restless and nosey to stay parked in the same area as to say Almost 6 years to reach 1000 posts I doubt it'll take me this long to reach 2000 seeing that almost 900 posts have been posted this year since my return  Lastly a lot of members already knew me from the other forum which I used to post on which I'll say no more on other than good riddance to that one
