i think this new feature is working very well in those days
  i saw many reputation for all members and i feel a very great atmosphere in the forum maybe christmas near? i don't know but i hopes this for a long time anyway i wish a good night to all members

Sorry but I can not understand the logig behind this "reputation"
It looks to me something like the models voting. Please remember that you have stoped it because of reasons well known to all of us. Why must or sould we now vote on eahcother? What is the meaning of that? I personaly see no fan at all in it. Just thing how many of the 75.000 of us are expressing their oppinion in this site. It looks that the majority does'nt even bother to write a few words. And the few who do that are also voting betwin them. I don't get it.... |

Well my opinion is mixed.
I won't to say it's good or bad. Think the time will show it and when it works with fair play and in a respectable way, why not ? But I found an example for a negative reputation of a member by another one and how did he justify it ? He doesn't like the racing driver who is his favorite. Is this a reason ? No in my opinion. We all have our favorites. In ETV, sports, music, films and so on. Personal tastes are different and a part of politeness is to respect that. Hi Admins and Modis maybe it's possible to define the reasons for a (because negative) reputation more exactly a little bit and integrate it in the forum rules. Honestly speaking, I don’t care if a member will be rated negative or positive… it wouldn’t change my opinion or point of view about him…. It doesn’t matter if he has 100 positive or 100 negative signatures because like in real life there are and there will be always persons that will have more friends than others.
I won’t change my opinion about my friend and I won’t stop reading a post of another member only because he has a negative signature.. and I don’t care if someone will rate me negative.. I will always be free to express my opinion and it doesn't matter if it's good or bad …... So guys do not be influenced and if necessary don't stop being critical or to say what you really think... Personally any innovation is better than anything at all, it’s a game and nothing else…. you won’t loose money and you won’t win money…… and like the great vehmencia says “We are all here for fun, no ? well I hope so...!!! PS. Sorry vehmencia I didn’t think I was so contagious and that you would be infected… “Hehehe”…. Reputations stay but can be changed at anytime good or bad, yes they stay but isn't it like real life i don't like my neighbours but they are there
 the forums are a community of different opinions hence discussion, if all looked at things the same way then that part dies, or all only need the good reputation option.The arguments that you have missed are gone due to moderating. Yes your right nobody is perfect and Moderators will get there fair share of bad reps, you don't see me doing much site moderation but i do send a lot of PM's to members that i have deleted or edit their posts, so will pay for that at some point  The reputation option is on other sites which Mauro posted the links to, and one seems to be doing ok with that option. |
