Re: What if ?

I don't think that is happening short term. Normaly contracts are long term and as long as they have to pay for it they may as well use it. Maybe in a few years ...

Was Nakita the facilitator in her trip to the USA?

Re: What if ?

I see a much cheaper way ... where you don't have to care about via which way it is transported. Solution can be found in an announcement on their homepage ...

edit: I should learn to type faster ... already said bei gw and elmo

Re: What if ?

@ ghostwriter

more than likely, at a push with everything optimized it could be done with VDSL 16000, which would give California the " hot " show sometime after lunch.

so far so good.

Re: What if ?

how is this going to happen ? at least one other (if not 2) mid Atlantic relay transponder(s) = megabucks

live Sat , I doubt it. Perhaps they can lease the Stanford Dish, at the moment a tourist attraction.

Or via transatlantic cable or even recorded material.

all that trouble for the 4 year old kids to watch TV while Mom and Dad go out in the evening

Managers @ ET _v try selling foot videos, get sponsored by soft drink firms, split the service there are many many possibilities left.

Why not try making a sellable product - that would be a good start

Re: What if ?

Maybe I am wrong with my assumption but although this is the USA the man there have no different taste from all over the world and for that matter not only sex but also regarding good entertainment. Now eUrotic.TV is not offering now days none of them the shows are lame some of girls are dressed like nuns and not all of them are good looking ... so what do you really think that a man will sit alone in his hotel room watching this crap ??? I myself will go out even if its the bar across the road ( they have quite pretty women in California).... Now business wise I am sure they got good money but normally you want to expand your business and not kill  part of it ... ETV is not doing a lot of money from SMS and phone calls but they are connected to several cable providers in Europe if I am not wrong so do you think the average European will watch this sort of shows ?? well you always have those who are in love with the girl on TV which they think only loves them but as soon as she leaves the studio she forgts them and runs to the arms of her real boyfriend (My advise give it up as you only spent your money in vain) the other who are calling and sending SMS are still not aware to the change ETV went

Re: What if ?

Thanks to midnight for the research.

As mentioned already, the timing difference would be a problem especially if according to the flyer the program is being aired a full 24 hours per day. But never underestimate this tv - they do have more than one studio and more models than you actually see on your screen.

But this starts to come home now. Anyone who can remember a certain website will recall an announcement of a plan to break into the US market. May have taken a little longer than planned but the timing of this new service is really too close to be a coincidence.

Look in for ferther, oops further, reports after midnight.

Re: What if ?

Only a few thoughts:

1) I don't know US censorhip rules.
However Palo Alto should be in GTM-8 time zone.
If US rules were similar to EU rules, we could not see nothing good even after 23:00.

2) Imagine a great finance manager who is guest in one of these hotels.
Do you remember " Pretty Woman " ?
The only difference is that, instead of Julia Roberts working his c*ck,
he can speak to Lilian and Mimoza, who are reading the weather.
Very very exciting !!!

I think only ETV searches always new markets because old markets don't spend any more
enough money to be fuc*ed around by their lies !
They need new "ingenuos" viewers who believe their deceptions !

Re: What if ?

A broadcasting in America is not a good news for us (European viewers) even if ETV is a "pay per view" channel in America. I have paid one view for a porno film in USA (NYC) and I have seen a film very censored (no tits, no ass, no pussy). This explain very well the type of show seen since two weeks on ETV during the day (5:00 to 23:00). I think that alldaycimema viewers never see the night show: it's too hard for them regarding US law. I am sure ETV managers prefer to receive the dollars (probably a big amount) from Alldaycinema than a few SMS from European viewers. My last hope is the fact that the paper is written in California and perhaps the rules are a little more tolerant there.

If someone can give us more informations about the californian rules and where are broadcasting Alldaycinema, thanks to do it!
