If I remember right (referring to the SMS on ETV's birthday this year) there are only 2 directors:

Franz and Ivo.

I don't know which other directors should be there.

The directors would be quite bored doing a show for 5 hours without any chance to annoy the viewers. They also wanna have their fun.

Either the directors and camera crews were on something synthetical that starts with L and ends with SD or there were some higher ambitions involved.

Maybe someone should tell them, that this is a liveshow and not something from the visual arts department and the chances that Spielberg or Lucas are calling with a job offer are rather slim.

I didn`t wish to say something against jaya`s performance, though I agree with HvB: I will not compare it with her performance last year. I congratulated her in a vip-sms last night though she is not my favourite girl! But I believe she didn´t recognize it.

I referred to the moderators and directors: I suppose they celebrate and drink wine, but they don´t do their work - if there is a celebration, they are no longer concentrated.

Your 2 Cents are well invested money and I agree with you. Nevertheless I still prefer last years show ...

How is a birthday usually celebrated ?. Bring in a cake. At a few bottles of fizzy lemonade. And what do you do after that ? Go back to work.

So I read between the lines and I see Jaya being asked how she would like her birthday to be celebrated. "Give me an hour so that I can do my thing" was the (for me imaginary) reply. So to grant that wish it clearly cost the channel some money as I am sure that there were few calls during that performance. But still a nice jesture to a girl who's enthusiasm is still as strong now as it was on day one.

I am not saying that the final delivery was perfect and if Jaya should ever see this she may be a little disappointed but the sentiment was there.

Always if ETV do celebrate something you can predict: It will be a bad show! I have heard from my favourite girl that the models do not think so because it is a party where they can drink wine. And the Moderators too: then they cannot any longer concentrate for their duty, and the result is the cruelly boring show!

Yes, they make cash with personal things of the models or better: they are marketing them.

I wonder if they start to sell or auction personal things one day like underwear, jewelry, shoes, strands of hair etc. to establish a cult for diehards true to the motto:

"Authentic red shoes worn by J...." on the label.

Maybe the ETV-studios are becoming a pilgrimage site in the future.

The good old archive. A shame what ETV is delivering now compared to 1 year ago. Instead of hot shows Shamus serves his friday-night crap.
