About the show from last night ,sorry that i have to say this  people,but Kaleya you did a nice show ,from the beginning till the end ,the introduction was nice !!!!!  and you looked fantastic !!!(sorry ,that some of you think that she was too long on  the screen(in front of the camera),but she's only sheduld for one show this week so ,maybe you can forgive the person  (and Kaleya)who is responsible for it ?and let us enjoy it for once this week?)  And i know that the effect of Kaleya is the same as Nikita and Sabrina when they are in the show (i think she has it more sometimes because yesterday Nikita was also there but Kaleya had the upperhand  in the show if you understand what i try too say),and i also must say that Kaleya and Gia were a perfect couple in the show !
But i personly think that Kaleya is one of the pioneers of Etv (like Jaya,Tia) so i think we should be happy (glad) that she's still at Etv ,only i find it a bit sad that she's not so mutch in front of the camera annymore ,so i hope that all of you can understand that i'm always happy when she's in the show ,like all of you are happy when your favorit girl is in the show ! Princess Lady kaleya will always have my respect !!!!!! sorry that i say this guys ,but i find her a special girl that always try to do her best and try to entertain her viewers ! If you see how many sms's she always get and that she's always speakin' on the phone (i guess she's always the one that's hard to get on the phone ,you have to stand in line to get her on the phone and speak too you (hmmm)i think it could take a time :))))))) . So Kaleya you get a warm aplaus for what you did in the last night show  from me !!!! Respect as always for you !!!!

i am glad that someone mentionend this three weekest models of ETV.

They do really nothing. They only sit around and talk with themself. I think they get no calls.

I mean they have some models they were really nice and have gone or fired but this three models can do what they want. They stay there with doing nothing. I Wish i can earn money like them.

And for all lovers of ETV. I have enough respect for the models but this three models don´t get my respect they do nothing and they don´t earn any respect from me.

@bb: hispasat is publishing a very optimistic footprint [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig] , according to that 75 cm should be enough. But according to the posts in different forums it is difficult to pick up the signal with a 120 cm dish in eastern Germany due to the positioning of the satellite somewhere over the Atlantic and the resulting low elevation.

Sorry to differ here, that's not true, or at least only a little bit.

Switzerland has an expensive telephone number also (but only for ETV1, not for ETV2).
It is absolutely no problem to call both channels of ETV over the +423 numbers, *but* if someone calls e.g. from Germany or Austria (and no line is free) you get thrown out. This can happen after 2 minutes if you have no luck, or never on a better day. It happens also on ETV2; here sometimes you get a 'conference line' together with some (mostly arab) guy screaming 'show me your ...' and the girl also shouting 'go out of the line'!!!
If you are snoopy, you can also be silent and listen a bit to these interesting talks :-)))

Btw, there is also the video call, also over +423, which is actively promoted by ETV, and exactly the same as described above happens there too.

The relevant Article is

Article 22
1. Member States shall take appropriate measures to ensure that
television broadcasts by broadcasters under their jurisdiction do not
include any programmes which might seriously impair the physical,
mentalor moral development of minors, in particular programmes that
involve pornography or gratuitous violence.
2. The measures provided for in paragraph 1 shall also extend to
other programmes which are likely to impair the physical, mental or
moral development of minors, except where it is ensured, by selecting
the time of the broadcast or by any technical measure, that minors in the
area of transmission will not normally hear or see such broadcasts.
3. Furthermore, when such programmes are broadcast in unencoded
form Member States shall ensure that they are preceded by an acoustic
warning or are identified by the presence of a visual symbol throughout
their duration.

There is a difference between seriously and likely in section 1 and 2. This is the reason why Austria inserted a third section in $32 of PrTV-G.

2) My point was not why TV6 went out of business. The decisions of the Austrian regulator were all because TV6 and the owner did not obey to the rules of broadcasting the content outside of the allowed time window and without the warning. The implication for ETV is that they could still send hot shows in their night show as in 2006. They always have an acoustic warning before the show starts.

3) I admit, my argument was a bit short and did not make the point quite clear. Of course, different prices within various locations in the EU are allowed. However, the practice of ETV which you perfectly described, that German residents would have to dial the German  number, Austrian residents the Austrian number and so on is a violation of the single market directive as it prevents the free flow of goods and services. Perhaps you might remember that VW had been fined by the EU for its treatment of vehicles sold in Italy and re-imported by German buyers.

The interesting paragraph for this discussion is §32. and as you can see, the last change to this paragraph was in 2004 (article 4 was included just to make live a little bit harder for Peter Stolz, the owner of TV 6)..

That’s false. Some have received their win, but some didn’t, as closer to the end it gets, the more complaints emerged.

Those decisions have nothing to do with TV 6 closing down. So technically, Peter S. is still the holder of a broadcasting license …

That’s nonsense and you know that pretty well yourself. Your claim is true for large parts of western Europe, but you will be chanceless in eastern Europe with those tiny 80 cm …

A girl from etv once told me that she had a viewer from Pakistan (Hotbird).  Theoretically  you can watch etv on hotbird in South  Africa. But you need a 30m dish for this.  The same for hispasat.  :-D

Unfortunately, I did not save the URL. It is also a bit tricky to find as TV6 was the station name but not the owner of the licence. I would have to search it again.

The link HvB provided was only the starting point. You would have to search the web-site of the Austrian regulator further for the decisions on various complaints and violation of the rules. TV6 was fined several times.

I have not doubted that the tax authorities closed TV6. I never stated that the regulator shut down TV6. But I fully agree with you that ETV does not tell the truth.
