Re: Last night's show

I just re-read Mr_Niceguy's thread starter ...

Perhaps more of us should do so.

It is laughable, no, sad would be a better description, just look at the timespan of the complainers posts ... a true demonstration of addiction.
My deepest sympathies, 6 hours watching 'rubbish' just so you can continuously post that you are watching 'rubbish' Confused .
Somehow seems to be mainstream to complain about everything Angry
3 positive posts about Gia's show but 3 pages of complaints about yesterday's show though it was pretty clear what you will get Confused
I watched from 22:30 to 23:30 and as still nothing really interesting seemed to happen I went to bed, so I woke up this morning without lack of sleep Big Grin

It might have worked for ETV because a all soft model night show (except Kate who ruined it by showing her nips ;) ) is new and viewers think "hey, if i write, one of the models might do something unexpected".
It might even work for a second show, but my guess ist that calls/sms will strongly decrease after that if ETV continues those shows and viewers get nothing for their money.

Besides that: Aren't there more than enough daily hours to do these kind of show? Why piss off the night viewers with crap shows?

This idea of yours is one that I was thinking of, and hoping for, myself, but my post was already so long so I preferred not to add it. Yes, about daytime, was there anything apart from Kate that would be against the law during the day? Not anything that I can recall seeing surely?...
And thanks for cheering me up by reminding me of Heart

Well ... that's not quite correct ...
It is. I wrote "quite sure" and not "sure", which means there also is a slight possibility things might get worse, but in general it has to be expected to get better again. Cool

[pedant] "In British English quite usually means ‘fairly’: The film was quite enjoyable, although some of the acting was weak. When American speakers say quite, they usually mean ‘very’: We’ve examined the figures quite thoroughly. Speakers of British English sometimes use quite to mean ‘very’, but only before words with an extreme meaning".

So it depends on whether 'sure' is considered to be 'extreme', which it appears to be in this case:-

"certain about what you feel, what you want, or what you have decided:
quite/absolutely sure: I’ll certainly support you, if you’re quite sure that this is what you want". [/pedant]

Well ... that's not quite correct ...
"ever" can only relate to the time-frame in which it was stated. Once that time-frame is exited, the term "ever" becomes obsolete since there is no way it could refer to the now current time-frame which was in it's future.
This is a continual process which can be resolved in any increment of time you choose Cool .

Or to put it another way ... things can get worse ... Smile .

On the other hand absolute zero from Simona, Jessica, Nicole...I am afraid as you say before if these shows will come in near future more often.

Mine also ... complimenting them on their audacity in putting on such a show and suggesting they make it a regular occurrence.

I am one of those who supported the idea of Karry making this show. (Not that I have the slightest influence on the matter, see further down.) I still think it was right. However, the current discussion should not be unexpected. Had there been just one little ”surprise” from just one of the girls, then I think that would have had a very large impact on the opinion of many. (I imagine that this is an advantage that ETV still has, if you compare with some channel where you can predict most of what is going to happen.) But there wasn´t any such surprise, as it seems.

I've lost track of how many e-mails I've been sending to ETV in the latest months regarding this crucial fact. They need to create and build expectation (and they did it ok, seeing the reactions and the following the show had), but they also need to provide something.

Been away from THIS world a couple of days but could get some glimpses on a TV. So now there´s some ´work´ to do, it seems.

I disregard here the discussion of Karry´s doings and sayings in the show, which others can handle better.

Now the night is over and no casualties, at least no heart attack due to an overdose of excitement. If we suppose that Evah, Brona, Cleopatra, Nicole, Simona and Jessica will now be lining up for inviting each other to similar parties on the following six Mondays (which I doubt), then we will, most likely, have each week six nightshows and one ”nighttime daytime teasing show”. That future is what many in this forum fear.

And here I would like to put a question (not knowing if this has been discussed much in the past) . What influence can the members of this forum have? Is it at all important for ETV what we think, even in such cases where we are united? Why else send messages to ETV?
I don´t know how much money the latest show brought in, but someone wrote there were many messages. Isn´t that what counts for them?

Of course this is not the right thread for discussing this matter. Perhaps if someone has a good point he could direct us to another thread or else send me a PM. I am curious to know.

In fact, today's daytime show are better than yesterday's night show. I think this says a lot

My mail is, too. And I also agree with you. Such a show from Evah (which was a nice show, albeit too little for 4 hours...) should be the regular teasing for dayshows. Simona and Jessica especially disappointed me.
