ETV Lifeshows revisited

<p>After

Re: ETV Lifeshows revisited

Inquiries about the last paragraph of this posting have reached me. You will find all pertinent information in three former postings of mine, which can be tracked down by using the Forum search engine “eUrotic TV / Liveshows” with the keyword “sinister”. Happy hunting !

Re: ETV Lifeshows revisited

What a relief: Others also feel like being in a parallel universe !

bellerophon (Re: The girls page votes (and voters),
02.09.2009 11:17, on Forum: eUrotic TV/ Models):

„...So presumably this means ETV have got it right and I (and many other contributors) live in a parallel universe.”

@ OldGrizzly

I appreciate your decision.
As regards the "humour" and "sarcasm" you refer to, I would be happy to have the possibility to inject a bit in my posts, but it's difficult if you always stay with your gun pointed at my head ...

Re: ETV Lifeshows revisited

A wise decision, OldGrizzly. Not the edit, but the decision to restore the original post.

Two things for you to contemplate:

1) Quality trickles from the top down

2) The heat and the kitchen

Re: ETV Lifeshows revisited

In light of comments both here and by personal representation to me, I have restored the original text. For those who did not see it, it is marked bold

This is now done with a reminder to the original poster that forum moderators are also entilted to respect. Not every decision the moderator makes is the correct one but they can hardly judge as more often than not they do not see what was deemed to be offensive.

And more often than not, any edit or deletion (that was the other option available) would not be acceptable.

Generally, edits are done in the way that was just described. Here I attempted to inject a little humour into the proceedings by editing the offensive remarks into a sarcastic comment "...At least this was all held together by the forum moderators who do a mighty fine job ". Unfortunateky that humour seems to have been totally lost even with the (warning) that followed it.

Re: ETV Lifeshows revisited

I too must object and open an issue with the moderators here.

Opposite to OlddGrizzly's claims, the edit was not marked appropiately. Though I was puzzled what could be meant by such a strange sentence in an otherwise eloquent posting, I was baffled, if not shocked, to read the follow up explaining that this was in fact an edit.

As an experienced moderator on other boards I must urge my fellows on this board to take into consideration to better indicate when and where a moderation led to an edit. It is general accepted practice to surround such an edit in brackets with the words "Mod. edit" or "edit by <Name>" in front of the revised passage.

If the moderators do not see the urgency in showing this basic act of politeness to the offensive poster, at least let them show some respect to the innocent readers!

And finaly, on topic: what ever may be said on the quality of ETV programming fortunatly does not hold for some of the criticasters. A very good posting indeed.

We are not free to write but we still are free to think !

Re: ETV Lifeshows revisited

OK, but it's not correct to alter the meaning of his words !

Re: ETV Lifeshows revisited

And I also have the original stored on my computer.

The edit is well marked. "(and would not wish to read again what was first written on these lines)". And that writer, who seems to have been away for some time had better re-read the forums' rules especially the one about having issues with the moderators.

Re: ETV Lifeshows revisited

To be precise:

I have the original sentence saved on my pc.

I hope this is the last time that similar things happen !

Re: ETV Lifeshows revisited

Dear fantome, congratulations for your post !

If you read some posts of mine surely you know my ideas (but surely you know also something about the "jailbird"...)
Only one point of disagree:

<It was against all economic reason>

The crap they broadcast has economic reasons:

new markets ---> much more viewers ---> possibility to have the same number of customers (or more) than in 2006 but with a sigificative cut of the costs (models' quality, camerawork, studios,...).
I want to be polite, so I will give not my definition of people who spend money in what they actually broadcast (control of the model,.....)
Moreover Mr. Zero (as I call the Molvanian boss) knows many tricks.
Someone calls these tricks "magic". I wiil avoid to say how I will call them.
-----------------
And now a consideration:

I must admit: I read this post at 18:40 but I had no time to reply.
Now I read again this post and I find a "significative change" in a certain part.
Since there is no trace of your editing, then I have to think that someone "powerful" made a forced editing of your post.

However there is no "clear sign" of this editing but thish alters totally the meaning of the sentence I refer to.
In this way a member who reads now, for the first time, this post, receives a message which is no more the original one.
To make things clear: it's the same method adopted by Vicky when she magically transforms jonas' complaints into compliments !
I don't like these methods in TV and I don't like in this Forum !

Re: ETV Lifeshows revisited

The last sentence in the second last paragraph of "ETV Liveshows revisited"

"At least this was all held together by the forum moderators who do a mighty fine job (and would not wish to read again what was first written on these lines)"

Is not my text and not even marked as a substitution. The perfect example of what I said with the deleted words. Furthermore, it does not express my views in the least.
