I do not intend to talk about last night's show.

Today, I want to talk about .......

Milk !

And so you ask, what the fcuk has this got to do with ETV. Well read on and let me amaze you.

In my part of the world we still have the very quaint custom of a little man who gets up reallly early to deliver your daily pint (that's 568 ml to the rest of you). Just like those wonderful people who must work at such un-sociable hours to bring you this entertainment.

And whoa betide the delivery guy who gets it wrong. Nothing short of a letter to The Times will do.

And gone are the days when he simply brings one variety. Yes ETV shows are also not so simple any more. So allow me a few minutes to go through the current stock.

How about some 'gold top' ? (that's the little bit you gotta get off before you can get to the good stuff). Sounds just like a VIP sender.

Or how about 'Long Life'. Lasts forever despite reports of an impending demise.

The standard delivery. That's 'pasturised' or in ETV-speak 'Past Your Eyes' cos you don't get it any more.

Or how about some 'Yoghurt'. Bound to leave a sour taste in your mouth. Or when did you really enjoy that last show.

He even brings it in different flavours now. Lots of different colours too. Even in chocolate to remind you of the darkness.

And then there are the special deliveries. When you can order cream. But he insists that you have to be very patient for this. Taste it more than once a year and you are going to be spoilt.

So there, my dear friends, the amazing link between ETV and milk. Are you not glad that you took your time to read this and when you pour that next glass, think of ETV. The thought may not make the tv better but atleast you will enjoy the milk.

Oh, yes. The Barbie shows are just as sexy as incontinence underwear.

Sour cream - something that looks great on the surface. But go a little deeper and the truth will always out - it's called a Barbie show -)

btw.: looking at those feetshows I always think of another milk product ...

The analogy for whey is pretty clear, but I haven't found out by now how to compare sour cream to etv, but I'm sure you can help ;-)

Thank you for the Sunday reading, both amusing and entertaining.
Here we don´t have a milkman he has been rationalized, but we do have many more milk products than you mentioned, one of which being "quark" this is available in two varieties low fat and high fat, I don´t think I need to expand on this theme.
The word "quark" is also sometimes used in a another context, also very applicable
to about 90% of the shows, a literal translation would be "what a load of ....."
Another very tasty product we have is called "vla" similar to custard. I´m waiting patiently to view this from ETV, as yet not witnessed, but I live in hope .......
