Must say thats one reason but only one of several.
Its not just cost but time and effort involved in posting content. Guys here would share freely with other members and it worked really well & it was a brilliant site.

But the rise of upload sites like prnhb, spnkbng, cmwhrs etc meant that freeloaders would come here to get vids of the girls then upload elsewhere claiming content as their own and use them for trades or lock behind 'friends' and the original posters here couldn't get access to their own vids on other sites or share any other content these shisters had taken.
And the situation got worse with the rise of fileshare sites like mega & gofile. Even now, vids shared freely here are the backbone of sites like spnkbng, cmwhrs, fappening (& vola if they ever come back).
(several of my 10 year old vids appeared in a mega posted on fappening a few days ago!)
So guys were happy to share within the site but why would content posters here invest the time, effort & money to benefit other people on other sites, most of whom didn't even know how to use a Thank button!

Another factor was how close the forums were to the channels. Back in the day, the girls and channels appreciated the 'publicity' and the benefit of being featured in the forums but then they brought in things like c2c & pervcam and suddenly the girls didnt want what they did in private shows being posted so because of the cooperation between the channels & forums it was very easy to get stuff removed - much easier than using dmca on the file sharing sites. And because they could, they didnt just have offending vids removed but entire threads - which is why some of the top girls aren't featured here at all any more (90% of the stuff I posted can't be found here as the threads were removed).

And from a personal perspective, I'd also say the attractiveness of the girls themselves is a factor. Some content posters followed certain girls and if that girl stopped then their posting stopped. Other girls didnt stop but they're now 10 or 15 years older and its just not the same - they're not the same! I don't watch the channels anymore let alone record or post because whenever I check them, all I see is heavily tattoo'd silicone sistas or 40 year old ex-babes which I really do not find attractive!
