I´m not a big fan of Rapidshare
 First of all I´d like to say thank you to dazaman for explaining how to download files from hitfile.net as a free user. @sneffels82 Yes, Megaupload, my previous filehoster, was much faster in terms of speed (up & download) and also more comfortable to use. After the megaupload-disaster there are not a lot of choices left and many filehosters have some limitations I don´t like. Hitfile offers some nice services to free uploaders and they allow larger filesizes. I also like the fact that hitfile.net is located in Russia. For the moment I don´t have much trust in US- and European-based filehosters... Hitfile.net seems to work fine for me (at least from my location, maybe it differs from country to country). Here are some of my numbers: Upload: 0,50 Mbps Download: 0,60 - 0,75 Mbps [Versteckter Link - Registrierung notwendig] Doesn´t look that bad and I guess one hour for 225MB is acceptable. So, please try again, be patient and I can assure you- it´s definitely worth the wait.
