SexySat 3 and 4

Is there someone, which can help me? I read in TGIM forum, that SexySat 3 (test) and 4 are on HB on air again. In best quality. Although I mad a transmitter browsing, I cannot find them.

TEST channel is back again, same frequency, still airing the same programme as SexySat 2.

Test channel has left the transponder.

A big plus is that the strange technical problems are not there on the test channel. The overall 'fuzzy' quality of the picture leads me to think that they are still using analog technique in parts of their system. A real waste of their bitrate. But I am obviously no expert, who knows what they use and what they are up to with this new test channel. Remember, for a year or so they had Sexysat3 running a copy of Sexysat2, what was the point in that? Total waist of bandwidth. Let´s hope they actually intend to start a third channel or something.

Liveshowman, I would say that the test picture is reminiscent of Sexysat 3 from 2007 on 11.623 hotbird - that's when it was at it's best. ( I mean relatively speaking of course, it has never been top notch so to speak)

Let's hope they get the sound sorted out.

Yes you'r right. Very good quality picture (and pussy close-up) on "test" but it's only sexysat 2. nothing about SS3 and SS4. If you've more infos......Thanks in advance.

Ps: Alpenglûhen is always no uncrypted on Astra.

To be honest, I find the picture just about identical to the original Sexysat2. No technical problems though so it is better...but sharp picture? A little sharper maybe but not sharp.

Has someone measured the bitrate and compared it to Sexysat2? The resolution is the same (352x576).

And damn!! Only last week I was advocating that Sexysat should replay past models during the night and now they have and I missed it. Hopefully they will do that tonight, I will set the timer on my recorder.

WOWWW. Fantastic Clarity right now Sexysat2 is being broadcast.

On 12360H 27500 3/4 there is a new(?) test channel (name Id is 'TEST'). They were broadcasting a copy of Sexysat2 a moment ago, right now there is a black screen.
