ATP 500 Wien : Lucas Pouille won his fourth ATP tournament in career (third this year, second on hard and first ATP 500), defeating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (8) 6-1, 6-4 ATP 500 Basel : Roger Federer (1) won his 95th ATP tournament in career (7th this year, 19th ATP 500 and 8th in Basel), defeating Juan Martin Del Potro (4) 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-3 WTA Finals Singapore - Singles : Caroline Wozniacki (6) won her 27th WTA tournament in career (second this year and first year-ending Master), defeating Venus Williams (5) 6-4, 6-4 after 1h 29' In first set, Wozniacki was the first to break and went 3-1, but was immediately broken back, then she broke again Williams in eight game, but, when she was serving for the set on 5-3, she lost her serve without having set-points, however she managed to win the set in the next game at first set-point after 41'; in second set Williams seemed very tired due to the battle against Garcia in semifinal and went down in a hurry 0-5, but Wozniacki began to feel the pressure and was broken twice when she was serving for the Championship on 5-1 and on 5-3, but again the American player lost her serve on 4-5 and the Danish player won at second match-point her first Master (after her defeat 7 years ago with Kim Clijsters), while Williams lost her second final in this competition, remaining with one only victory.
