Re: Olympic Games London 2012

I do not know what Schwarzer will tell at a press conference soon ... I know only this, following him very often just for sporting fields: is more than a year an athlete sad, indeed, a sad man. Apparently he was unable to reconcile his life as an athlete, sure an hard life with thousands of miles of training, with his mind ... In every interview, every public appearance, giving the impression that he did not love the most ... Maybe even do not understand it more.... The EPO can be traced through the blood-urine cross-examination for a period, on which various medical universities and sports sometimes do not converge, of 4-6, maximum 7 days .... While the positive effects are much more durable. It is now clear why Scharzer have waived the 20 km, with the excuse of a slight influence which no one believed, but we all thought to be a tactic for give him best in the 50 km ... Instead we now know that 20 km came too soon ...! Even if , within himself, I believe he already knew that the surprise check at the end of July, by having short-doped, would soon be unmasked, even though I am convinced that many athletes are able, however, for errors or omissions in the analysis, to escape from their misconduct . At this point I'd like to give an explanation, however difficult: certainly that his Italian/South Tyrolean character was rather hard than fragile. The nonsense come from there ... I would say that he didn' t feel at the height of the many expectations of the Italian sports world, especially in the legs than in the head. But I should not wonder if he had thought of that damned help not to get on the podium, but at a decent placement in the first 10, then end his career .. Not to win, cause that those who go on the podium is obviously analyzed ... And traces of hematocrit suspect, because high, would have raised doubts even if the EPO now probably would not have been more detectable... Or even if he did it just to say stop for a lifetime sport that, believe me, he felt didn't love it more ... Choice of lucid madness ... Perhaps not so lucid, since he could use many excuses such as an accident or otherwise. But when you have no more peace of mind, everything you see, seems almost worse than the crap you're going to do ... But this final thought is a very personal thoughts of former sport, even if only an amateur ... But he probably will say and talk about every other reasons.... Right so.... Remains a sad day and moment... The worst after Pantani's doping and death, for me....

Re: Olympic Games London 2012

You are wright.I just ask myself how many didn´t get caught by using doping.
Always faster,higher, stronger.
They always blaming those cycling guys, and ok, many of them are/were guilty.
But they have the best doping check.
And what about olympic games,do you think they are all clean.
I have my doubts Confused

Doping, disqualified Alex Schwarzer
Immediate exclusion of the athlete, who had not yet left for London. Hard the coach: "No excuses. At 28 you men." Petrucci: "Better a medal in less, but more cleaning"

Re: Olympic Games London 2012

For me, the best race of 100 meters ever. Incredible the quality of all sprinters in this final.

And yet the difference is huge between one and the rest ...
