Re: International Soccer - General Discussion

Up in Scotland the results went as follows:

Scottish Premiership

Celtic 1 Motherwell 2
Dundee 2 Hamilton 0
Inverness CT 2 Dundee Utd 2
Kilmarnock 0 Aberdeen 4
Partick Thistle 1 Ross County 0
St Johnstone 0 Hearts 0

So what does this all mean then, a point for Utd really only gained ground on second bottom Kilmarnock by 1 point but my team are still sadly detached 7 points adrift, well at least we have now hit double figures though, we cruelly lost an injury time equaliser to Inverness CT, when you are at the bottom you just never do get the breaks Sad

With regards to Motherwell what an excellent result beating the champions on their own patch in Glasgow Thumb up Elsewhere good results for Aberdeen who remain Celtics closest rival just one point behind in 2nd place. A win for Partick Thistle too moved them closer away from the bottom end of the table.

Into the Scottish Championship now and the results went as follows:

Morton 1 Raith Rovers 2
Falkirk 2 Rangers 1
Alloa 0 St Mirren 2
Hibernian 1 Queen of Sth 0
Livingston 1 Dumbarton 0

So what does all this mean in the Championship well with Hibs stoppage time winner and Rangers defeat away to Falkirk both sides are now tied on 41 points, Rangers still maintain top spot with Hibs in 2nd place with only goal difference separating them. Next Monday Rangers play Hibs and whoever wins that game will go top of the table. Don't discount Falkirk as they are very much a dark horse for the title sitting only 6 points off the Top 2 Smile

Its a sad state of affairs now in modern football that as soon as a manager goes through a sticky period the board of directors are all too happy to fire the bullet in their direction.

As a neutral I'm sad to see him go as the English Premier League will be a lot more duller as a result, I'll miss his entertaining interviews as he was the first manager since the late Brian Clough who dared to question the norms Sad

i agree with you , CHELSEA made a Biggest mistake ever, ..MOURINHO did all he could . yet The players deserve to be sacked, very unprofessional and dnt wanna play for the badge, where are the leaders like lampard drogba and terry of previous years, no character, players should be ashamed. MOURINHO still best manager in the world, stupid to sack him . and i think the next destination for him is MANCHESTER UNITED it will be the best him .

these are some statistics of the SPECIAL 1

2 Champs League
1 Europa
8 League Titles
8 cups

The only manager in history to win 2 trebles
The longest ever unbeaten home run in football history
the most goals and points in La Liga history
The fewest ever goals in epl history
the most points in epl history! chelsea sacked the best in my opinion!
