Transfer official news : Juventus signed Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic for € 18 million.
Mandzukic, 29 y.o., scored 20 goals in 43 matches last season with Atletico de Madrid and signed a four-year contract. I thought I'd just mention that up here in Scotland that Rangers have appointed Mark Warburton as their new manager who will be assisted by David Weir.

Well Group D is some group, I suspect it's going to go right to the wire. I never in my wildest dreams expected Scotland to be right in the mix. If we beat Georgia in our next fixture then that sets up 2 very exiting games at Hampden Park, Glasgow
